Nominated for 4 Emmys (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-prime-wins-one-daytime-emmy-award-also-nominated-in-four-other-categories/24811/) (the Oscars for TV shows), the new Transformers Prime cartoon has already won a pre-Emmy award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.
The Emmys are on June 23rd.

I will agree that the show is getting better but for it to be in the running for an Emmy... just highlights the lack of quality shows on TV right now.

Lol I thought TF:Prime was the only show in the category so it won by default. Then again that's probably my ignorance that's stopping me from looking up the other nominees.

I believe there were three awardees in the category:
Joel Fajnor for Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness,
Ernie Gilbert for T.U.F.F. Puppy and
Christophe Vacher for Transformers: Prime.
I don't believe it's possible for the award to be a case of being the only person in a category, in that these three people have specifically been chosen out of everyone in animation for their individual achievements. All three are winners - each of them gets an Emmy.

TFPrime managed to win 2 more Emmys (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-prime-brings-home-2-daytime-emmy-awards/25114/)...
Outstanding Special Animated Program
Outstanding Individual Achievent in Animation (Christopher Vacher, Supervising Color Designer)
Not sure how these awards rate with PrimeTime Emmy awards, but I guess it is something for the show to boast about.

I know people like this show but I honestly can't get into it despite watching the full first season. Cartoons like Young Justice are a lot better and I have even heard from someone that Rescue Bots has better thought out plots and characters!
I'll give Rescue Bots a chance to see of that's true :)

Yeah, I'm struggling to finish the second season (I'm up to episode 11 'Flying Mind'). I only watch them when there is nothing else on.
