Well, Yeah... :D

By the looks of the packaging, these Minibots would probably lose some of their coolness factor if you actually set them free :p

You guys know that Japanese toys are typically designed to be easily repackaged for in-box display right? There's no need to buy a spare display set unless you want it "sealed for freshness." :p

P.S.: notice how the eyes on the box art are all repainted blue except for Pipes'. :)

These guys complete my G1 Minibot collection.

I only wish that Bugbite could be released.

They are? So no glued down bubbles?

Anyway, I'll be box displaying these as I have the original G1 versions of these anyway, except bumblebee, but I have the keychain version of it anyway. :)

I'm pretty sure my Henkei Astrotrain had some of the bubble glued down... but I think Goktimus means the boxed toys.

Not related to minibots but my Crossover Venom had no twist ties, just a plastic shell over and under holding him in place. Unfortunately, you still have to rip the plastic off of the backing card, thanks to the indentations on each side making it impossible to slide the inner shell out easily.

Doh! Obviously :p

Think g1 boxed toys for what I meant. You know, the inner sealed bubble....

My carded henkei have not been glued at all but they did have sticky tape holding the bubble secured with the card.

Mine are in the ship preperation stage. I can open these and know that despite my room being very very full, I can still find a place for them.

Even carded Japanese TFs are designed to be placed back in package nowadays. But these Minibots are boxed so it's not really relevant here. :)

Yes, it's just a plastic blister/bubble cover a plastic insert tray. Nothing is glued down. It has fold over tabs which are then secured by sticky tape. Once you break the seal (tape) then you unfold the tabs to remove the bubble. You can place the bubble back on and the fold-over tabs keep it attached to the card so that you can display it MOC (although not MOSC).

What irritates me with Hasbro is how they have partial fold-over tabs on some carded figures but then the rest of it is glued on - which kinda makes the whole idea of having fold-over tabs redundant; e.g.: Hasbro's carded movie Transformers.

Cool, thanks. :)

And yea, I know what you mean, the top and bottom of the bubble is glued on while the sides are tabbed and taped. They may as well glue the whole thing down if they're going to do that.

Isn't that the same half a$$ formula they have for everything?

Look at Classics Astrotrain, his colors were compromised because of realism but they still added the purple killing the whole concept of realism. The same goes with Universe Powerglide, they changed the colors but still added very unrealistic orange lights that kill the illusion.
