JP Micron/Prime promotional videos

Heading back into Kissplay (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Kissplay) territory, it seems that Transformers in Japan are using "young" girls to help promote the toyline once again.

Since the main demographic of Transformers collectors are male, what better way to promote Transformers, than by having an all-girl pop group in short videos, that aims to educate the masses about the new series of Prime and their Micron partners.

As a manufactured girl group (like Spice Girls & One Direction), Tokyo Girls' Style (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Girls%27_Style) is made up of 5 (late) teenage girls (http://tokyogirlsstyle.jp/profile/index.html), and there are five short videos so far.

It's all in Japanese though, but they are said to be talking to Vector Sigma. We get to see toys being transformed, and some CGI Microns.

Hmmm using girls with smaller hands make the product look bigger than it actually is... guess that's how they make up for the drastic reduction in toy size - skillful visual manipulation:p plus camera angling.

Hehe, the world would seriously be a lot duller without Japan; Whilst a little off to Western sensibilities with the ladies, the Micron short at the end had me chuckling for some reason. :p:D
