I love the way that Lugnut is retconning his way into G1 history. First the Battle of Autobot City, now... http://www.seibertron.com/images/toys/uploads/1337314498_Transformers_Autocracy_10-Preview3.png

MtMtE just moves from strength the strength.

Love the nod to LSotW in the first few pages where Fort Max lays some smack down! Overlord eat your heart out.

Best and worst part is we know that the creative teams are not afraid to kill off characters, and while I have no bother if Drift goes down the gurgler, loosing Ratchet would be a massive blow to the IDWverse.

i am really loving the ratchet attention.. i liked it in infiltration and even way back in the marvel run... he is the autobots greatest warrior afterall. i hope he doesnt get killed off.. i hope it re-afirms his position as cheif MO.. but then first aid is written very well in a crisis....

He is a relatable character, who is written well, but he cannot replace Ratchet! I would like to see his story (back and future) relating to the transformation cog. I wonder what else is on Delphi considering the warning from issue #1. I too hope he gets a new lease on life and his abilities from this side trip. If he has to save Drift to do it, it's a wound worth taking. :D

And as for Autocracy, thats a nice change for Hotrod, does not tie into how he was written in the furmanverse, but alot of time has passed. Loving the Lugnutz!

IM really loving the new storylines, not like the earlier style of IDW wherein your already finishing the book and nothing has happened at all... now it's all crammed with something happening, just like the old marvel books but with better art now... and no pesky flesh creatures, finally!

On the Transformers Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/transformers) (mirrored here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-more-than-meets-the-eye-ongoing-5-line-art-with-artist-commentary/24897/)), the MTMTE #5 preview has been posted up as just the inked pages, with commentary from the artist, about why certain things were drawn the way they were.
