I don't really care about the mould's lame combined form, I'm much more interested in the individual robots. G2 Swindle looks brill and I love the other four too.

Just like the g1 bruticus they are getting some mileage out of this mold. I like it and I'll pick it up just like the other versions but I would of preferred them to space the releases out a bit more. The way it is now there will be three versions out within 5 months

lol, the G2 colors look a lot better than the 'standard' colors! Now that's something!
Agreed, it looks much better and also seems to suit the mold. However I still have my misgivings at the somewhat odd engineering and design.

It appears to be from the same source (info pack) as the Asian Exclusive "Generations" toys, so this may well end up being limited to HK and it's markets. Since it is an October release and the colours of both sets are fairly similar (as a group), it may also end up being the colour scheme Asia will get instead of the American colour scheme.
At least with them being released at around the same time globally, people can choose while they are at their most available and cheapest.

It looks like whatever country is getting those Gen2 versions, are also getting the regular Hasbro US versions as well (based on the same product catalogue (http://www.larckyray.com/index.php?topic=2083.0)). I'm guessing that the regular versions will be the standard retail versions in all countries, and now we have an SDCC exclusive for America (in game colours) and this unknown store exclusive for Asia (in Gen2 colours).
(not forgetting the Amazon website exclusive version as well - not expected to be different colours to the retail version, but you never know... we now know 4 different versions of this set of toys and they aren't even released yet!)

I like those G2 colours alot.
Now the waiting game to see if we will get this version, or at elast a chance tog et them at comparable prices to the standard in store G1 colours.

It was suggested on TFW that this Gen2 colour scheme is the Amazon exclusive set (which was initially thought to be just a boxset of the retail figures). The SDCC presentation may shed some light on this... if not, we just wait until October and see what versions are being released.

Why do they keep lumping more & more reasons on me to pick up this set of molds multiple times? - I love that this version exists and can't wait for its release. :D

Hmmm looks like Bruticus... in whatever version will forever hold the titles of most used/issued/sought after(?) Gestalt :p so will we be seeing a camo and gray scale, as well as swamp version, desert version, all black - nemesis and all white versions of the same toy?

Isnt one of the versions the SGLMG (Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras) version? (Fluoro colours):D

I am hearing a lot of love for these moulds everywhere now as many are finding their desirable colour scheme but i fear the rage when the first reviews come in..
- his proportions are very bad
- can his joints and movement hold a decent pose or is Bruticus similar to the PCC's?
- we know the back of Bruticus is hollow and Onslaught's arms hang out. Are there any more annoyances or consessions made?
I am looking to get each version because i enjoy coloured variants and "figures just short of awesome" but as i said.. I fear the rage.

G2 already has that covered :) also works as well as Schizoid colorblind color artist version...:)
I wonder if OTCA member Bruticus will get all versions like you Deonasis... not that he's been active n the forums of late...

I agree - don't love the PCC proportions. Onslaught's connector pieces better be super strong to hold up two Deluxe figures of similar size/weigh as itself.

I'm not sure if it was confirmed that Amazon was getting the G2 bruticus as their exclusive but they now have it up for pre-order here (http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-A1051-G2-Bruticus/dp/B007MCNI30/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341563101&sr=8-1&keywords=g2+bruticus). Unfortunately their is no picture yet but I've ordered it and have my fingers crossed that it is the one pictured earlier in the thread

I can't find a non-Gen2 Bruticus on Amazon, so this would appear to be the Amazon exclusive version (originally assumed to be the same colours as the retail version, but just in a box-set).
It doesn't yet have a release date on the listing, but was originally said to be about October.
It notes that it will be available to some non-American countries, so fingers crossed that Australia is one of them (like with Unicron).
Best to pre-order one if you can in case they sell out the pre-orders, and if it doesn't end up being available to Australia, at least you don't lose any money from it. (it looks like they charge your card now, but would refund it later)
You certainly can't beat US$60 for a set of 5 Deluxe figures (plus $10.65 shipping)... it's much better than the $100+ BBTS is charging for the regular five set.
