This is surprising as they did express several times that there would not be a PC game because they did not have the staff and expertise to do it.

Good news for console-less fans! Still think I'll pick up the Xbox 360 version, this kind of game begs to be played on the big screen with epic surround sound. :D

I tried it, couldn't get used to it. Felt really awkward and imprecise for me.

I know that the PC port is considered bad by PC standards as it lacked key mapping and controller options but I honestly didn't mind it. The default works well for me and prefer the Keyboard and mouse.

When it comes to lack of online chat, well, I don't really play that much multiplayer to care about that side of it.

I checked with EB Games today, they haven't got the PC version listed in their system.

I'm not surprised if they won't stock it, many PC games these days get the shaft from local retailers.

Doesn't matter for me, I'll just buy online as it's cheaper anyway. :)

Yeah, we didn't get WFC on PC here either. :( Everytime I played the PC version online, gekisou was the only other Aussie I recognised.

...And this is still te case dude, Activision have simply sub-contracted the "Porting Duties" to a middleman company called: Mercenary Technology (http://www.mercenarytechnology.com/); regardless though the existence of a PC version is great news indeed, the more people being able to play this game the better IMO. ;):cool:
