These official images were already released by Hasbro to fansites at Toyfair America this year, so there isn't anything new about these images that are now being posted up by Hasbro on their Facebook account (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.343634242373443.74844.146805978722938&type=3).
But since these are getting closer to release (September), it's probably worth refreshing people's memory on the 7 new sets in Series 2.... especially since the clearance prices of some Series 1 sets here have been prompting members to start collecting some recently.
Note that one of the images shows off the purple (Dark) Energon parts that come with each set, and then combine to form a (special) weapon.
(strange that they are calling it the Quest for Energon (blue), when the bonus parts are Dark Energon (purple))
