Quick thoughts:

+ A reasonably decent figure for a Legions class. Unlike the Deluxe class toy it actually has an INSIGNIA tampographed on his chest! The vehicle mode also has a proper front and not a massive hole like on the Deluxe. Kinda sad when a Deluxe gets outclassed by a Legion Class figure in some areas.

+ The vehicle is rather mediocre. It does look fairly show-like, I'll give it that, although a tad too many reds and transparent blues... colourwise there's just too much happening. This is a case of "less is better."

+ There are several 3mm and 5mm ports to plug in weapons. There's a 3mm port right in front of the cockpit which means that when there's a weapon plugged in, it obstructs the cockpit from fully opening. That's pretty strange.

+ The LED gimmick is stupid. It works pretty much like the TFPRiD Voyagers... in other words, it doesn't. In theory the clear parts on the Star Hammer and on the Commanders are meant to light pipe the LED, but in reality, it doesn't. Man... you'd think Hasbro would've learnt to either improve this gimmick or abandon it after it failed to work on the Voyagers. Thankfully the wire can be pushed inside the ship so that it's not dangling (and looks unsightly). Oh yeah, the LED is joined to a wire to the ship, so if you attach it to a Commander figure, he has to stay close to the ship!! "Here! This will power you up! But don't go too far away!"

The Legion class figure is nice, but not worth purchasing the playset just for the figure. I'd only recommend this toy if you're interest in having a toy of the Jackhammer/Star Hammer. Otherwise just stick with the Deluxe.

I'd buy the Legion Wheeljack (as a G1 substitute) but not for the price of the vehicle (and annoyingly the single pack Legion Wheeljack has a non-G1 homage deco).

These things don't seem to transform all that much. If I read those boxes right they don't actually transform at all? You just pull a lever and the weapons spring-loaded deploy? I hope they lock into place or are they like the MechTech weapons?

That is pretty much all they do. I know with the driller when u push it along the ground the drill spins, and the weapons lock into place when you push/pull the lever

Hmm, that's pretty lame IMHO compared to the transforming trailers (& etc) of the DOTM action sets. I'm personally not a big fan of playsets/vehicles for Transformers, but if they are going to happen they should at least "transform" not just "deploy guns".

+1 ^Agree
These Cyberverse playsets suck compared to G1's Micromaster playsets. ;)

+2 now.

That saddens me. I like paysets. Erm, actually base-formers. I was rather hoping they would transform into a base, or something ,not just bust out some guns.

Saves me money I guess though...:o

I left these sitting at K-Mart, I originally wanted both but after seeing them IRL decided they were an easy pass.

I grabbed this for $10 on sale at Big W which was an awesome price. I'm not usually a fan of vehicles for Transformers, but the Jackhammer played such a prominent role in the cartoon I thought for the relatively small cost it was well worth picking up. Plus your regular Cyberverse figure costs about $7, so why not get a ship with it for $3 more? :)
