that is good to hear... so far the only Prime figure i have opened was the Legion Vehicon (12 times) all my first edition stuff is still sealed.. im not sure if i will open them or keep them sealed...

Picked these up at a toy store in Moonee Ponds today. I was actually looking for Generations/Classics line figures since I knew the shop stocked Transformers and wasn't very busy and therefore might have some old stock, but as it turnedo ut they didn't, but I haven't seen Arcee in any of the other stores I've been to, so I made a snap decision and bought her. Could have picked up Starscream cheaper elsewhere, but since I was already in the shop I bought him anyway. I'm really liking the Cyberverse Prime series, but neither of their weapons tab in very well which is a bit of a bummer.

Don't be too envious, postage from the US put that up considerably and the card is bent pretty horrifically so no collector would be happy with it. I was still really pleased though. Shipping was $19 each but when combined it came to $30ish (eBay is not telling me the combined figure anymore). I also won a bid yesterday or the day before for a MIP Battle in Space Rodimus vs Cyclonus for $15 that I was pleased with. After shipping it comes out to the retail price here, but as none of the shops near me stock it and it's out of stock on the TRU website, I'm really pleased to have won it at that price on eBay. I would have paid that much for Cyclonus alone, but getting a die-cast Matrix and a somewhat redundant Rodimus figure with that was pretty awesome.

I now technically own 4 figures from that Rodimus mould (they haven't all arrived yet) which makes up a pretty hefty portion of my infant CHUG collection: 4 Rodimuses (Henkei, Classics, RtS x2), 2 Gen Kups (each with an iGear head), 1 RtS Galvatron, 1 United Wreck-Gar, 2 RtS Cyclonuses and a Classics Starscream. I guess it's a good thing I like Rodimus so much! I'm even thinking of picking up the United Rodimus figure too... but not until I flesh out my collection a bit more with Jazz, Scourge, Wheeljack, Tracks and anything else I can find a good deal on. I'm also going to customise one of my RtS Rodimuses with the canopy mod and a new paint job. I want a really movie accurate Hot Rod, but none of the versions of the mould fit the bill perfectly.

Technically this acquisition isn't new or a Tf at all, but it is is TF related so Im still posting it here heheheh. I got the two artworks waay back but didn't wanna spend so much in framing them as framing here in Aus for some reason costs an arm and a leg:rolleyes: so I kept on scouting til I found finally in one of those dollar shops the frame that I think would suit it well. The artwork came with its own matting stuck to it so I had to adjust it in the middle but the matte kinda shows irregularity.... still, it's not so bad.
Hanging these two as overhead my headboard:)

I got them from ebay... uhmmmm not sure if it was 2 or 3 years ago.... as per the ebay literature in the auction - it was part of an exhibit of Transformers art in the US. There are still several from that same exhibit that that particular seller is selling. I just can't remember the seller's ID.

Big W Blacktown. They were not in the aisle where the TFs are . these were located at the powertools area - corner shelves. They seem to have scattered the toys to corner shelves all over the store so as to boost the sales but if one wasn't looking all over the store you'd miss it.

After careful consideration I decided to pick up a TFP Voyager Megatron today. I was hanging to see what Takara would do with their version and now that I've seen clearer pics of it, I know that I much prefer the Hasbro release. Was also quite chuffed to see he was less than $40 when I picked him up this evening. :)

I have to say, he doesn't look like much in the packaging but once you have him in hand he's really quite fun. Much weightier than I expected too. I'm surprisingly enjoying this toy a lot more than I thought I would! And boy does the display look a whole lot better with a voyager sized Megatron leading the troops. *boots deluxe Megatron into the distance*

Big W Blacktown. They were not in the aisle where the TFs are . these were located at the powertools area - corner shelves. They seem to have scattered the toys to corner shelves all over the store so as to boost the sales but if one wasn't looking all over the store you'd miss it.

Hmmm I hope they didn't reshelf again, but that's where I found them. They also have the TF Prime Driller and Jackhammer Cyberverse
These are located at the opposite end of the store - the toys section is at the right side when you enter the store. but these were at the corner shelves at the opposite - left side past the manchester, pillows, covers etc. Then you go were they're selling parts for toilets stuff, screws nuts and bolts, - hardware - theyve placed em in the corners shelves of each aisle- basically along the hallway.

Left the crappy stickers off Breakdown's hammer for a more cartoon accurate look, oh yeeeaaah. :D As sweet as Breakdown is, Vehicon is just godly. It is from a $2/fancy dress shop on High Street. "Cheep as Chips" or somesuch. They have had them there for quite a few months.

Not sure , prolly not since BIgW is on Sale but I didnt go there coz I only had 15 minutes before the next train so I made a dash to Uncle Pete - they were $25 for deluxes ( full price IMO) so Im guessing it's cheaper in Big W.

Wave one of the Generations FOC toys. They're neat, but...Tiny. My favourite would be Shockwave, he fits nicely with my Prime Decepticons if a little short.
I'm honestly not plussed by Optimus or Jazz. WFC Prime is a better toy for collectors but I can easily see younger kids enjoying this Prime. Jazz actually disappointed me a little. he's very small and the plastic feels flimsy. But something tells me I'd love a Wheelie repaint of THIS Jazz mold. Got G1 Triggerhappy from higsy19. Nice figure, not to bad a shape, and unbroken Blowpipe heh. One thing I had to do was shave a little plastic from the peg so I could transform him into gun mode more easily, and without feeling like I am going to break it.

I would have not had a chance without the HD directions.(thanks again mate:)) Even with them some were hard to find and most didn't open till 12 o'clock (or 3 or not at all:p)
they did have most things but some of the prices weren't right. mib scorponok, dezarus and trypticon all 1200 each. (admittedly the exchange rate makes it sounds worse than it is, maybe 1k aud each..) victory leo and star sabre 600 each or 1k for both. got mine for just under 300, not great but it was the first old tf i saw that i needed so jumped on it:o

Wave one of the Generations FOC toys. They're neat, but...Tiny. My favourite would be Shockwave, he fits nicely with my Prime Decepticons if a little short.
I'm honestly not plussed by Optimus or Jazz. WFC Prime is a better toy for collectors but I can easily see younger kids enjoying this Prime. Jazz actually disappointed me a little. he's very small and the plastic feels flimsy. But something tells me I'd love a Wheelie repaint of THIS Jazz mold. No pics, my laptop is on the fritz and I'm borrowing housemate's Laptop to bring you this post.

The zombie features are best shown off in robot mode, so I don't think its absolutely necessary to open it in order to enjoy it :) So I guess your next dilemma is whether to display the robot in packaging or just have that awesome tin-zombie face sharing back at you from somewhere prominent :p

My thoughts exactly, definitely a top score there for el Cranko. I'd prob keep him in the box myself, but only because I've got Takara Zomjumper patrolling the glass cabinet already.

Camera has gone AWOL so no pics but I did receive Hasbro Prime Deluxe Airachnid and Vehicon s'arvy. So...I can absolutely see why people won't like this toy but for me Airachnid is well worth having, and not just for completions sake.

The thing I love about this Airachnid toy is just how genuinely creepy she looks! The arms and huge holes in the hands are truly bizarre but they add a kind of freaky element which just appeals to me for some reason! :p I like my Decepticons to be dark and menacing, and from this point of view Airachnid bests even the incredibly sinister looking Soundwave. I also really dig the tiny moulded Decepticon faction logos - wicked! Just hope Reprolabels brings out the iconic chrome/mirror stickers for her shoulders, that would really tie everything together nicely.

Or have the box with the zombie-face looking out, and display the toy out of box next to or in front of the box. crankcase76 says that he's already opened it before, so it's technically no longer sealed and you can't really "reseal" a toy that's already been unsealed. So whether you display this toy in or out of box, it won't change the condition of the toy (which would be loose mint w/ box). So might as well display the toy out of box and have the best of both worlds displaywise (plus it makes it easier to access when you want to play with it :)).

I only opened the box,I did not take the actual toy out of it's packet.He was not taken out of the mask part. I physically have not touched it or transformed the toy. So does this mean it is not mint in box?:eek: Only opened it to put the pics up in a post.:mad:

Playing with it once in a while really isn't going to affect its condition now. You're toy's not sealed no more -- so you might as well enjoy it! :D

Probably will just leave him in the packet, even thou I have cut the seal it is the only SDCC toy I own. So will keep him locked up I think, anyway I have a CJ on display and plus I need more shelf room as well.:D

It does seem like Powerdive's pre-order (http://acestoystore.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=62_64&products_id=358) is up already and stated to expect arrival in 2 days :)

The Combaticons cost about $30 each(delivered from overseas)...some are easier to find than others...as far as the metal versions;i asked questions if the listing was unclear and (eventually) found them all! Good luck in your Search!
