The Preview Night event, which is Wednesday night in America (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/free-transformres-the-ride-3d-poster-at-sdcc-preview-night/25294/) - sometime on Thursday here (an expensive limited ticket feature for SDCC) appears to be giving away free stuff, including a Transformers item (a poster for the TFs Ride).

And Hasbro have issued a press-release (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/official-hasbro-sdcc-2012-press-release-hasbro-returns-to-comiccon-international-to-showcase-its-iconic-popculture-brands/25278/) of ALL their exclusives.
(just imagine how expensive it would be to collect everything if you were a committed toy collector, especially if you didn't live in America or were able to attend SDCC)

SDCC has grown to become the equivalent of a 4-day theme-park, with all the goodies on show and available to buy, or get for free.
