Gen2 FOC Bruticus now on Amazon for pre-order

I'm not sure if it was confirmed that Amazon was getting the G2 bruticus as their exclusive but they now have it up for pre-order here (http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-A1051-G2-Bruticus/dp/B007MCNI30/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341563101&sr=8-1&keywords=g2+bruticus). Unfortunately their is no picture yet but I've ordered it and have my fingers crossed that it is the one pictured earlier in the thread

I can't find a non-Gen2 Bruticus on Amazon, so this would appear to be the Amazon exclusive version (originally assumed to be the same colours as the retail version, but just in a box-set).

It doesn't yet have a release date on the listing, but was originally said to be about October.

It notes that it will be available to some non-American countries, so fingers crossed that Australia is one of them (like with Unicron).
Best to pre-order one if you can in case they sell out the pre-orders, and if it doesn't end up being available to Australia, at least you don't lose any money from it. (it looks like they charge your card now, but would refund it later)

You certainly can't beat US$60 for a set of 5 Deluxe figures (plus $10.65 shipping)... it's much better than the $100+ BBTS is charging for the regular five set.

Shipping is only about $10-$11 for this from the US! I so wish they carry out the full Hasbro TF line...and was lucky with last year's Unicron too after missing out on the 1st two releases.

It looks like Amazon also have an exclusive deco of the Jetwing Optimus from TF3 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007MCPCZM/?tag=transformers-20) (the toy that was supposed to be exclusive to Japan and Australia). Since no pics are up yet, it's not known if it is a new deco, or the toy we got here.
The price is listed as US$105.

Just like with Unicron, once this hit the TFs fansites, the Gen2 Bruticus rocketed up the Amazon toy sales rankings within a day. It's currently number one in action figures, and number 9 out of all toys.

Those sort of rankings will hopefully see more Amazon exclusives that ship internationally. (beats having to pay ebay or bbts prices)

Hope people here wanting one, got in before all the Americans jumped on it, because anything that sells out is guaranteed to be over-priced by at least double, on the secondary market.

Amazon doesn't charge until its ready to ship. I ordered two and I think the postage came to $15 or so. Ridiculously cheap!

They do give you a tracking #. I have an order of turtles on the way, but IIRC from when they did Unicron, it was at my place in about 1-2weeks of them posting it.

Funny you should mention that, the normal version on BBTS is almost double the G2 colours on Amazon. That and I could imagine the shipping to be about 4 times as bad :p

I folded and pre-ordered him :o The SDCC version is waaaay above what I am willing to spend - not to mention hard to acquire, and I know that if I see them at retail I'm going to pay double. $70 all-up (including shipping) for FIVE deluxe toys is too good of a price to pass up.

Yea BBTS is quite expensive when it comes to shipping. That's why I always Pile O Loot everything I can and get it shipped as one. Decreases it a little bit, but not a helluvalot. My wife buys Living Dead Dolls from BBTS, so works out alright.

Found this unexpected package (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=328462&postcount=234) on my porch when I came home. I got the shipping confirmation last Thursday, which mentioned ETA for 4th Dec -- very happy with the actually delivery date :)

The shipping instructions do read 'leave at the address in a secure place if no one is present' and 'authority to leave if unattended', so if it's taken too long since the shipping confirmation, some of you might want to check your tracking numbers.
