Asian Generations Deluxe pics

The Legions/Legends were released last week, and it looks like the Deluxes are next, as there are new pics out, so could be out soon too (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/clearer-image-of-the-hasbro-asia-exclusive-deluxe-generations-figures/25264/).

The set of four has:
Autobot Springer (Movie Tomahawk)
Swerve (Classics Kup)
Wheelie (Classics Jazz)
Cliffjumper (TFPrime Cliffjumper)

Each appears to have new heads, and Springer has a sword. I'm surprised that they didn't bother to give Cliffjumper a gun... or maybe a slingshot for Wheelie.

Cliffjumper just looks... odd. However, that is due to me being accustomed to his Prime head.

Kapow toys appear to be in England.

If so, their prices might be higher than asian sources... it's just annoying that RK seem to be the main HK source, so are expensive and/or sell out fast on limited/exclusive items... or both.

The sword for Springer is a very nice touch - best use of the Tomahawk mould yet.

[Ode to a Grasshopper]

I might grab a Springer, if only so I can build up my LSotW cast a little more. Ideally I'd like to have the more mainstream characters (Springer, Kup, Perceptor) represented by Classics/Generations toys, and the exclusives represented by their old toys.
I'm short a G1 Guzzle, G1 Stalker, the Jumpstarter twins, the Actionmaster crew, a spare Generations Kup, a Generations Perceptor, Skyquake, and (naturally) Overlord. And Fort Max.
Not sure if the budget will ever extend to those last two.

Wheelie's slingshot works against his character for me. The Jazz mold has broad shoulders & upper torso, give that frame a hoodie and a slingshot, and you've got one very mean looking bully :p



The sword for Springer is a very nice touch - best use of the Tomahawk mould yet.

I really like Springer's head sculpt, but the chicken legs don't really suit him. Still get.

The set of four have been acquired by someone in Asia, so might now be out.

Now to see if people will still be jumping on these now, or wait until they are released in America in about 4 months time, and hope that the after-market prices come down (for those of us who will have to import them from somewhere).

Yeah, 'A' for effort but not really good when it comes to execution. I do like however that they retooled new heads than just doing a lazy repaint.
