What is going on with Amazon US?
First it was the Gen2 coloured Bruticus (http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-A1051-G2-Bruticus/dp/B007MCNI30/ref=zg_bs_2514571011_3) for US$60, available outside of America.
Then it was an unknown (re)deco Jetwing Optimus (http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Optimus-Prime-Jetwing-Movie/dp/B007MCPCZM/ref=zg_bs_2514571011_1) for $105... also available to non-US buyers.
Now we have the HK "exclusive" Year of the Dragon deco of the Ultimate Optimus Prime toy (http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Ultimate-Optimus-Dragon-Version/dp/B007MCNI1W/ref=zg_bs_2514571011_5), for $100. And yes, available to non-US buyers.
So for those who were not able to afford this version, but wanted it, this might be your chance.
There's no release date noted yet, but it is selling fast, as it has already made it to number 5 on the action figure hot-sellers listing (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/toys-and-games/2514571011/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_t_1_3_last) (with the other two at #1 & #3). Actually, TFs currently has 6 of the top 10 spots!
Fingers crossed that Amazon are going to be having more Asian Transformers as a regular thing, and being available to us too.
They obviously saw/underestimated how well Unicron did be last year, so maybe they are ramping up their sourcing of other Transformers goodies.
