Has anyone found a better (asia based) seller yet? Of the choices I've seen I'll probably go with TFSource as their shipping might be pricey but when they say mint box they really mean mint box.

Apparently people have been making use of something called Chimungmung?... or something to that nature, it's a Chinese/HongKong store I believe. :)

I got my TW Grind Rod and ordered TW Aurora off them. Very good service, quick delivery, and securely packaged. However their FP selection is limited to just Function X Code at the moment at eBay prices ($100+), perhaps its because they may be repurchasing these off another reseller rather than getting them directly off FP. They do sell quite a few FP KO's as well as Hasbro KO's.

If it sells as well as everyone is expecting, I'd say its a very good chance. FP are big ones for re-releasing stuff that sells well.

But I'm not taking the chance:o

I know we have seen a scan of the IDW interpretation of Menasor, but does anybody have a scan of Motormaster (only) from the same comic / fiction? If this IS the basis for FP's not-Menasor, then perhaps a scan of the IDW alt mode or robot mode will give us an idea of what to expect.

It seems that some of the G1 asthetics are still there. That mostly being the chunky shoulders and the truck-cab legs/feet. The silhouette we have shows alot of similarities to these pics. The Stunticons were my first combiner so am keen to relive having this guy.

You've literally ripped the words from my mind dude :D; I feel exactly the same way about this FansProject set as the Stunticons were my 1st completed combiner too & they also feature in my favourite episodes of the G1 cartoon too - Cannot wait! ;):cool:

I think that version of Motormaster looks pretty bad (the head in particular) but, despite obviously being inspired by it, the Fansproject figures don't mimic the IDW designs slavishly so I'm not too worried. I think the other figures look great and I expect Motormaster to follow suit.

I like how they add their own blend of Classicsverse (Explorer/Munitioner, Steel Core, etc). Hope not-Motormaster turns out the same; he needs a pink face like down Breakdown needs a red face.

If menosaur looks totally badaas, then woo, but menosaur will look like a turn of MM does too. Still, I am very interested to see what they are like and can't wait to see some pictures!!

Really!?!?! Have MM released any news on doing the not-Stunticons? I wasn't aware. Would be great to see their interpretation if they did. Not such good new for my wallet, however :D

In-hand images of the Asia Exclusive Bruticus repaint with G1 coloured Munitioner and Explorer (http://tformers.com/transformers-fansproject-munitioner-and-explorer-colossus/19662/news.html). Looks quite nice together (although the photographer could have taken an obvious frontal view of the full body). The colour scheme is unique enough for me to enjoy getting this second set which will probably remain MISB.

Agreed. It is possible but you have to have everything precise and it can be scary.

Mine seems to require a bit for force, which is a turn of. Unless I am doing it wrong I hope the next one is a little easier. I still like him a lot, but he doesn't standout from the plethora of recent third party releases as much as some other FP releases.

Yeah it doesn't seem as exciting as previous releases despite it looking really good. I will try to transform him again to see if aligning him is difficult or I am doing something wrong. I managed to get it largely aligned by getting the arms full retracted in the slider.

Maybe he doesn't seem as exciting because we don't have the arm/leg kibble to make part of the combiner as that is also part of the fun. Or as you said, we just have so many good 3rd party releases that FP isn't the only top dog anymore.

Mine is really tight pinning the arms in too. First time I transformed him I really had to force it in there.

transformed Car Crash while being careful to slide the arms all the way they can and it came together much more easily. It is still not a fun innovative transformation but feeling better about it

Robot mode for not dragstrip is a little underwhelming, but i am going for menasor mode anyway.
