DBZ HQDX Collection (DBZ Thread)

Another thing I collect are these dbz statuettes. Started buying these when I was in Akihabara back in 2011. Threw away my clothes in my luggage bag to stuff in 20 odd of these, had to throw away the boxes to stuff them in. :(

I've got a pair of the Piccolo w/ cape figures, but not single other piece, and I have a moderately sized collection.

Might have to post pics one day, although my collection consists of mostly gashapon and the Jakks/Irwin pieces. Trying to get more of the creatures and Scultures figures at the moment.

Nah i have never collected the dbz cards, did have some as a kid, but gave them all to a friend who did collect them. As to whether i sell these, only time will tell... if i need space for my plastic crack addiction;)

On another note... less than a month for the HD collection budokai games on PS3, cant wait:D

Not to hijack the thread (will be posting pics of new acquisitions as they came alter this month) but what are you looking for with the CCG cards? I have a decent collection of doubles/extras for most of the sagas. I'm only really after a few card (minus the Super rares) myself, so cannot help you with those.

Ignore the FoC toys, and you'll see some Jakks/Irwin figures from both the beginning and end of their runs (Raditz, Burter, SSJ Goku, Tien, Imperfect Cell, Recoome. A Energy blasting 3rd form Frieza, a battle damaged Movie collection Piccolo and some various DBZ CCG cards (mostly promos and some mailaways that were unavailable here).

Very good way to end the day!

Will do when I open him sometime next week, got to find space for him. Paint apps and sculpting is beautifully done, bar his mouth which is not a Piccolo mouth.

Cannot believe these things sold in the US for $17 :eek:. The few I ever saw in import stores were always asking at least $75. I would've bought them in triple for $17, considering that was less than I paid for most of the Irwin/Jakks figures back in the 00's!

Sadly he is my only movie collection figure, the shipping on top of the over the top prices on ebay make most of them close to the old import store prices.

MISB Energy blasting Gohan, Ginyu and regular Goku arrived this week.
Only need SSJ Goku, Frieza and Piccolo from series one and Krillin from series 2 to complete the set.

Also have a few more movie collection figures, model kits and the like on the way from a gumtree user.

Can't wait to have enough fee time to re-organise the collection!

Yeah I didn't know much about these statuettes until I saw them at stores in japan or at conventions. I'll probably pick up more while I'm in japan next year.


This thread has just made me realise if I could only have one DBZ figuart ever, it would be Bardock hands down.

The Bardock statuette is among my favourite along with Broly and the Freiza forms. I wished they released a good Future Gohan.

I'm considering getting more online, the Perfect Cell and SS3 Goku looks awesome.
