I've seen heaps. I was at Bondi Junction David Jones a few hours ago and they had four Ironhides - it would be a safe bet that they would still have them by the time you get there. :-)

Spotted Voyager Treadbolt in Brisbane at Garden City Toys R Us in the front section.

Spotted 2 Jazz and 1 Hound in Brisbane, at Kmart, Browns Plains,Grand Plaza. They are behind a bunch of wave 1. Universe Deluxes on sale for approx $21, there is one each of Galvatron, Silverstreak and Ironhide.

I was hoping to see Silverstreak, Ironhide and Sideswipe at Target Grand Plaza. They have a big transformer section. Only have the deluxes of wave 1. Very dissapointing. Maybe sold in the sale I don't know.

Target at highpoint finally has new universe figs. They have 2 Legends Class Special Team Leaders 5-Packs (Haven't seen these anywhere else so far). Both in excellent condition along with a few 25th primes and the special teams...at 20% off! Go you ravenous wolves....GO FOR the KILL :D

Target Highpoint is notorious for not having new (if any) of the universe figs other than 1 sunstreaker and some rh's. So anything that shows up on the shelves in there is "new" really.

Saw Universe Special Edition (all of the, though there were only two Overkills and one Dragstrip) at Toys R Us Hurstville for $40. OUCH. Kmart there also had wave 3 Deluxes.

You haven't seen a crappy target until you've seen "target deer park". This store is possibly the crappest of the crap. They have 30cm of space on ONE shelf dedicated to the entire tf line. I've only ever seen 1 sunstreaker there + 2 leader class animated primes for ages now...and top it off the store is a always a complete mess. Don't even know if they turnover a profit on their toy section. :confused:

I noticed that whoopie. Target Deer Park never had anything. Luckily there's at least 5 other nearby Targets (well maybe not too near but within a 5 km radius). Airport West and Highpoint appear to be well stock for our side of town in regards to Target.

The last time Target were any good for Transformers was Energon. I saw the entire Energon assortment (all classes) in late 2003 at Parra Westfields Target, before that store went to hell in terms of shelving arrangement, cleanliness and toy stock.

None of the other stores in the center had all of the stuff at once.

After a lot of searching, I discovered that Moore Park Toys 'R' Us has two Universe Special Edition Optimus Primes, one Megatron and one Drag Strip. Unfortunately for me, there were no Overkills, and he was my sole reason for going there. The toys were hidden when I got there - yes, I had to search for them. They are now out on show - towards the right hand side of the Transformers section.

The toys may have been hidden because the TRU staff didn't know where to put them. It could also have been because a child had hidden them. The third - somewhat annoying - possibility is that a human with the mentality of a child had hidden them. If number three is correct then I hope they grow up. The only way anyone has 'dibs' on a toy is if they actually purchase it. I spent a long time searching to see if an Overkill was hidden too - it seemed odd to find the other three characters (two Primes) and not him. I sincerely hope someone has bought all the Overkills, because I would be very cranky to discover that they were in the store somewhere I didn't look, hidden behind some My Little Ponies or whatever.

On a more positive note... I suppose I now have an extra $40 to spend on Christmas presents. :)

I find they're awful even for their own exclusives. In the Targets I've visited I've found a total of two Animated Rescue Ratchets (I bought one) and no Stealth Lockdowns. (If anyone's seen any Stealth Lockdowns in Sydney recently, please let me know.)

Saw a single 25th Optimus at both Target Springwood and Target Browns Plains today. Both had some obvious damage to the packaging, so didn't buy either one. Myer in the CBD had about 5 of them as well. Didn't pick one up from there for $80 because I wanted to get one from Target for $80 minus staff discount (an extra $4 off). I shoulda just bought the minty one from Myer, as the general public aren't as rough on the stock as they are at Targets.
Myer CBD also had the Combiners, and the third wave of Universe Legends (the Animated trio) figures ($7).
Also saw those Universe Animated Legends figures at Woolworths Springwood.

Kmart at Browns Plains and BigW CBD had the recent two waves of Deluxe Universe (Ironhide, Sideswipe, Silverstreak, Galvatron, Acid Storm).
BigW appear to have recently raised their Deluxe pricing, from $24.64 to $25.44.

BigW Browns Plains and CBD stores had the second wave of Universe Legends (Megatron, Jazz, Hound), for $6.44.

Fo the WAers, Myer Morley had the 25th Anniv Optimus Prime for a while now. Doesn't look as pink as I was expecting but I'm still not interested.

TRU
- Entire wave of Universe Special Edition Deluxes, a bunch on the big promotional shelves out front, a bunch more in overstock in the TF/Batman aisle.

- Combiner teams also out front

- A large number of Universe comic 2-packs on the endcap on the TF/Batman aisle

- A large number of 25th Anniversary Optimus Primes on the big promotional shelves and in the TF/Batman aisle

- Deluxe class restock, but oddly there were only wave 1/1.5 figures out front, and a single Sideswipe in the TF/Batman aisle

- Voyager class Treadbolt, mostly in overstock, but I managed to get two of them down and put them in the TF aisle and on the big shelves out front.

Target
- Absolutely nothing.

Kmart
- The usual crap they've been holding onto for months. Had a Sideswipe, but somebody picked up on my return trip.

Myer
- Cleaned out of 25th Anniversary Primes, mostly sold out of combiner teams, though Myer was clearly more keen to promote the Today Only Myer One 50% off sale than selling the merchandise since they placed the sign on the boxes of the combiners... facing down.

Kmart Blacktown had 2x Sideswipe, Acid Storm, Silverstreak and Galvatron, plus a few Octanes for $27 each. Kinda strange for that store to have new stock on the shelves...

Just too expensive for me right now. Really want two Sideswipes too. :(

Probaby not. The original Ironhide wave included those other three figures.

I went to Frankston today and in Myer they have absolutely heaps of the Classics Voyager Jetfire and Optimus Prime... Toys r us didn't have much but I saw 'treadbolt'(?) the blue repaint of Jetfire. It looked pretty strange.

Sighting at TRU Garden City. Last week I saw a stack of Special Editions, mostly Primes and Megs. I was lucky to find a Dragstrip and Overkill. There was like at least 20+ special editions now mostly gone except for one lonely megatron I saw today! :eek: unlikely they were moved as the ticket is in the same spot.

Found the Special Edition figures at Kmart today, for $38 each. They looked to only have 3 Op, a Dragstrip, one or two Megs, and maybe an Overkill. So get-em before the kids and parents do, or take a chance and wait for a post-christmas sale.

Allright... first post in this thread - my observations for TFU here in WA is reflective of other states: Kmart is best overall, but David Jones & Myer get the new stuff first (by about a month). Kmart has sales quite frequently, so sometimes better to wait a little if stocks are good.

FINALLY had wave 3 deluxes in... there's only one Silverstreak left, usual $26.99 - I picked up the one Ironhide I saw there last week.
A couple of Onslaughts & Powerglides at usual price $58.
Saw SE Prime & Overkill last week at $38 (which I think is steep!).

Infinity x crudloads of 25th primes. Yea, they can keep it. They didn't look pink to me in person, but yea, for $100 I don't want it.

Also saw the bruticus combiner. Looked pretty good, but as far as I could see, it was $100 too. Screw that.

They had the set of the SE editions. Look good, but I really don't want them. Were reasonably enough priced at $38, but yea, I decided I don't really want them afterall.

And the usual loads of silverbolts, (energon?) inferno, quickmix, etc.

King's Comics in the city has the 25th Anniversary Prime with DVD/comic - $250! :eek: Although that is slightly offset by the fact that they have 1/100 Macross Valkyrie Toynami Fast pack sets reduced from $20 to $10. :p
