Since Amazon.jp will only ship toys that are a "DVD bonus", this is one of them - Translucent Dual Model Kit Optimus (http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B002WYJRPG/ref=amb_link_62309209_3?ie=UTF8&me=AN1VRQENFRJN5&pf_rd_m=AN1VRQENFRJN5&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=14AC35CN54EP2CD5QEVR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=110910049&pf_rd_i=2260107051) (if the link doesn't work and it is still in stock, just do a search).

The original price was about AU$194 plus shipping (which is about AU$29).
But now that it is almost a year old, it has been discounted by 68% !!!!!!
That brings it down to about AU$61 (plus the $29 shipping)... making it cheaper than the regular Bumblebee Model kit (which was about a third of the size).

There are only 20 left in stock at this time, and this model kit isn't for the faint-hearted (it takes 6-10 hours to build... I still haven't finished the regular version Optimus yet (http://griffinofoz.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/kabaya-protectobot-model-kits-and.html)), but this translucent version would make a great display figure. (especially since it doesn't transform)

Just remember - don't bother trying to buy any other toys, as they won't ship them outside of Japan. This is classed as a "DVD with a bonus toy", which is why it allows for exporting it. (like with TF2 DVD that came with a bonus Black Leader Optimus)

If anyone is considering this one but on the fence, I would say go for it. The DMK's are brilliant IMO, I've done both Prime and Bumblebee and couldn't be more pleased, even though I'm at best a modestly-skilled model maker - more pictures in Grapple's creative section soon, I promise! - and I would be up for another if it wasn't for the fact that I've just bought one from Topisetron recently to do with my son.
