TFA Easter Egg in Episode 1 of Ben 10 Omniverse

It's kind of TFA maybe more, "Gobots."

As you may know Derrick J Wyatt worked on the new Ben 10 series, Omniverse. I've only seen the first episode when it was leaked on the web but there's a scene where Ben takes on three aliens and one of them is Crasher, mostly red and some black but the face is definitely Crasher right down to the racoon's mask.

Omniverse is slated to start on Cartoon Network here soon (I'm guessing October.) Seeing as Ben 10 is a Cartoon Network IP (closely related to Hanna-Barbera) I wouldn't be too surprised to see a few more Guardians or Renegades running around.

Would imagine if Derrick Wyatt was allowed to continue TFA, Crasher could be one of Strika's crew!

I like the Ben 10 cartoons but they do have a habit of using names from the Transformers continutiy:

Brainstorm - his crab alien change

Technobots - invading aliens from another dimension

Primus - the planet where all the DNA for his Omnitrix is housed

There are probably some more I can't think of right now...

... is there any carton that DOESN'T either unintentionally reference or rip-off the Transformers? I don't think so

I just watched it and it uses pretty much all of the old TFA cast too! Neat!

Latest episode has a bounty hunter and in his trophy room is what looks like:

Lockdown's hook hand

Grimlock's sword

The head of Starscream clone that was wearing a drill

In a previous ep Ben says, "It's on like Computron!"
