Pre-orders for these little gems (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=&II=MJ001&lang=us&CatID=) seem to have been up on RobotKingdom's website for a while. Glad to see that Maiden Japan's original designs (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/commissioner-listing-feedback/374962-wreck-gar-custom-add-parts.html) are approaching third party status - see the same link for some notably cool stuff for Universe Inferno and ROTF Voyager Bludgeon :)

For the $55USD asking price, you get $65USD of value based on Maiden Japan's pricing for these painted parts:
$11 Head
$14 Chest
$12 Waist
$14 Shield
$14 Accessory pack (includes axe weapon, shoulder guard, pair of shin guards)

Video review for an older version of this set here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-GUz3Fa5ik).

I have a whole heap of his work and in much cooler colour ranges.
But he made them in batches, so I got the heads three months apart from the shoulders and shields. Still haven't put them on the bodies yet, but I will track some bodies down from Toyworlds.

When finished, they will be my Junkion army!

But do they actually still transform with the extra armour on?

Please take some pics when you get around to putting them together!:o

I'm keen on these, but I've got a few priority items to hunt/acquire before getting around to indulge in troop building.

From the video review, it seems like they can't.

The add-ons seem to be only cosmetic. The head included can shrink into the chest; chest armour apparently can be stored on the bike, but everything else just needs to come off.
