I have noticed that Hasbro Hong Kong/Asia seems to be more on the ball on what customers want than the rest of Hasbro.
They seem to be more focused and appear to aim for a balance of general end consumer and fan appeal. They also do their best to tribute classics characters with the available molds without injecting silly colors and do try to add more value by retooling wherever they can like with the new heads and accessories.
Hasbro US should aim to be more like them.

Oh wow Onslaught looks better with more black and purple knee pads. Those Energon weapons look good in grey rather than translucent plastic. Any news on the RRP?

All I have to ask is......why don't we have a 'vomit' smilie?>>>>

I don't want to start a flame war but that's rubbish. Why release a mediocre 3 year old bruticus when there is a current "so much better" bruticus on the market.
I'd buy one of each 4 different versions of the FOC bruticus before buying that.

There is only one way I will even consider this. And that is if FP reissue Munitioner and Explorer. Then I'd be all over it, and cancel my FOC Bruticus preorder.

Two tanks & two copters don't make a Bruticus.

I wonder how he would look with the Crossfire add-ons?
Quite smashing I'd wager.

At $170 (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TAK11568&mode=retail&utm_source=retail_news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BigBadToyStore-Retail&utm_content=) They can keep it.
That is a stupid price for something that originally sold for $30.
Shameless money grabbing at its best.

I'll guess BBTS will drop it to $80 once they have more info. Anyone guessing another price?

That really is crap pricing for an item like that but I will consider one when the price drops down.

I can't say I wouldn't be tempted if I didn't already have it. Bought the loose set that was missing its Energon stars for the same price. I've got an attachment to the mould even without the Crossfire upgrade attached, but easy skip in this case.
It sounds like even if FP re-released Munitioner and Explorer, BBTS may set it at a pretty high ambit.

The fact they've set it that high indicates to me that even if it drops, it will only be by $20 or so.
For $60, that is a good toy. Not worth more than that though (imo only. I understand if others think otherwise).;)

This is nice and all, but it doesn't make it any easier (or cheaper) to get the FP Crossfire upgrade. For those interested of course, in that amazing kit.

Love to get, but at $130 (or whatever RK) are charging it can stay in Asia. As with many of the Asian exclusives they mmay be nice but I am running out of body parts to keep up and have to say no more than I would like to.

There are rumours circulating (arent there always?) that FP will be reissuing their add ons for these.
If true then that should make them fly off the shelves.
Not for me though. I only have room for one Briticus in my collection and surprisingly its gonna be G2 FOC. Mainly because of the price but I have never rated Bruticus that highly. He's probably the most boring combiner.

I'm really surprised that they have not done so any earlier, especially after reissuing City Commander.

In-packaging images of United Bruticus (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-united-bruticus-reissue-inpackage-images/26153/). Looks pretty good in that United get-up.

Looks kind of dull to me. The white doesn't work well with the dark colours- otherwise it's the light that makes the darkness. Looks alrightish.
