View Full Version : Botshots found in Japan - possibly as a test-run

Botshots were found in a store in Japan (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/botshots-released-in-japanas-a-test-market-item/25847/), but haven't been reported as being available anywhere else (like online stores), so it's being theorised that it could just be a test run to see how they go. Note the two different packaging styles for each figure, and that they are in boxes, not bubbles.

Perhaps Hasbro should have done a test as well, so that we didn't end up with heaps of them pegwarming in stores... discouraging retailers from taking a chance on other Transformers lines if they are making a loss.

I laugh at some of the comments on the price in that thread, but sheesh, I thought we go jipped on the price here. I feel sorry for those buying the Japanese ones!

I do like the boxes tough. "Bikkuri henkei" Surprise Transformation! Ha ha!
