Asian Classics Seeker 6-pack?

From the HK fansite that revealed the Asian exclusive United Ultra Magnus, they have posted up artwork of the six classic Gen1 seekers (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/classics-seeker-asia-exclusive-boxed-set-may-be-in-the-works-176058/), suggesting that there could be a six-pack in the pipeline... or separately as a special mini-series from Hasbro HK.

It will be a good opportunity for those new to Classics or the hobby, to get this great mould in all it's Gen1 forms - and if it is done as a nice boxset, it could be a nice display piece for those who already have them.

Wow... Like the pace and direction Hasbro HK is going with all these re-releases. Here's hoping the price is a little more down to earth to fuel demand and interest from new and younger collectors - it'll all be good for the franchise in another 10 years time when those younger collectors gain more disposable income :)

I love boxset figures so this is something I will buy. However I'm a bit worried about the price, the sixshot and energon bruticus reissues are pretty over priced and this will probably follow suit.

More info from the same HK fansite in the first post - if all six seekers are being released, they are being done as two 3-packs. The first will have Starscream, Skywarp & Thundercracker, and will be called "Deluxe Seeker Set Ace". It will be released in Asia December 21st.
The three shown off here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/asian-market-exclusive-deluxe-seeker-set-ace/25994/) have shiny parts, but don't look too Gen1 toy accurate, as Thundercracker isn't dark enough... and neither is Starscream.

Well, if anything this'll give people who missed out on Classics Skywarp & who couldn't afford the insane prices for the Henkei another chance at obtaining the character; I'm perfectly satisfied with my fleet of seekers though. :)

Perhaps if they put together a set of Rainmakers (Including an Official Sunstorm), then I might be interested. :cool:

I will buy all of these! and I concur they need to make Rainmakers! seems more logical now seeing as how they are releasing sets. A Yellow rainmaker could be Sunstorm :D

I'm not going to buy the set as I already have Starscream and Thundercracker but this may lead to more loose Skywarp's on eBay and at cheaper prices. The only problem with that though is there is a plethora of loose KO's on eBay :mad:

And "Blizzard Storm" - the third blue Rain Maker. :D (just make him an "icy" light blue colour and put in some white accents (instead of black) to differentiate him from Thundercracker)

It's BBTS... what do you expect. When something appears to be very popular, they adjust the price accordingly to profit off desperate fans. Instead of just sticking with the original price that they were profiting from anyway. I guess they feel that if an item is likely to hit high prices later on ebay and people are going to resell (scalp) the ones they buy from BBTS, they want a cut of the action.

Both sets are up on Tfsource for $130 per pack and the price, like on bbts, is subject to change. Has anyone ordered yet? I know $130 is a bit steep but it's better than buying the ace seekers individually. I actually might cave since I want it so bad- yet I'm short on cash...:(
