Some combiner figs parts like Superion Maximus and Bruticus Maximus (only a couple of each, or I'd've bought the 4 parts for Bruticus I don't have), Steamhammer, Duststorm, etc. And a single Overcast, which I grabbed- yeah dog! New in box, sealed, the box is pretty rough but brand new, $20! Woo-Hoo!

I think Crystal Convoy is awesome especially if you have light behind him. He really looks damn cool. One of the best toys in my collection by a long shot. Often, toys get made exclusives and appreciate in value for useless reasons... eg. BT-17 in diecast really means jack all to a mediocre at best mold. With the range of colours on Crystal Convoy, it's just a sparkling toy to look at and play with in either mode. But then again, ur a confessed BWs fanatic and I'm a G1 tragic. :p

DD... whoa, I'm doin' mine as soon as I get it. Maybe Sunday, I'll work it out with Larry since I believe he's located to a closer location to where I work on Sundays.

Don't get me wrong, I can see a place for the "crystal" or see-through versions in collections, but they just don't make sense to me, other than Ghost Starscream. I guess I need some sort of backstory to make them work for me, otherwise they are just the same character made differently. To me, this is akin to a repaint.

Kup, I don't see the point of Crystal Convoy...

Crystal Convoy is one of those strange toys that 'sing' to me for no reason. It goes against my typical collecting rules but I wanted it for some reason that is even a mystery to me as I cannot explain. Another toy which had a similar effect on me was Quickswitch which as you know I wanted. I think the toy is crap and there is no point to it but for some reason it 'sung' to me.

I am yet to pay for Clear Convoy but I am putting it as an acquisition:

You will also notice some Animated Activators. I must say that when LiegePrime bought a Bumblebee and showed it to me, I was very impressed by it. These toys in my opinion are of a much better quality than their larger and more expensive namesakes, particularly when you consider the price. Unlike the others deluxe and voyagers the Activator concept is very solid and they actually have better detailing and finishes than the larger toys! They are lots of fun too despite my misgivings of the style.

Naw man, that was a totally different dude.

There was one guy sitting in a car with a Decepticon logo on it and roller, kup and I were yelling at him with our TF clothes and waving TFs at him. He had his window slightly open and we knew he could hear us but he ignored us. We persisted and he eventually briefly made eye-contact and gave us this half-bummed wave of acknowledgement (kinda like what bus drivers do when they pass each other, but with even less effort and sincerity :p :p). Then there was another dude who was crossing the road toward us and he was wearing a TF shirt so we shouted at him (cos he was listening to a music device) and jumping up and down waving toys at him. roller gave him a free G1 Kickback. He was really really grateful despite the fact that it was a junker.

...then there was the guy who roller gave a Seaspray toy to. ;)

Well, cutting the tape and unfolding the cardboard may be the easy bit, and so is getting the toys removed from the cardboard, but getting the twist ties out from the toys themselves is really difficult, with how they are tied in.

Galaxyforce Blue Ramble. Saw an auction with the lot of 3 different coloured loose rambles but decided just to get this piece that will partner with my 2 other sealed Cybertron Scrapmetals. Might venture and get more scrapmetals when there's more dough.

The packaging is amazing and I'm very glad I'm doubling up with my Cybertron versions. It does disappoint me though that they didn't have Galaxy force packaging for toys like Menasor and Dark Crumplezone. Nitro Convoy has some really significantly better paint apps than his/her Cybertron counterpart too. Same goes with Convoy. And the bio cards just top it off nicely. I got both shipped for $110 odd which was pretty good, I guess. More to GF come!

I don't understand why they would package them like that. These Bumper Battlers were obviously designed for a younger demographic and I don't see how even a parent would get it out with ease. They should have stuck with a bubble with a hole to test the sounds.

Nothing went on, the whole thing was a giant misunderstanding as the contact in Japan made an error in sending the figure. I won't go into details but let's say that I did have to pay for both its cost and shipping. The details of this were only revealed to me yesterday.

BTW: The figure was never intended to be free or anything like that if that is what Pulse is insinuating, I was always expected to cover its cost + shipping.

Nothing went on, the whole thing was a giant misunderstanding as the contact in Japan made an error in sending the figure. I won't go into details but let's say that I did have to pay for both its cost and shipping. The details of this were only revealed to me yesterday.

BTW: The figure was never intended to be free or anything like that if that is what Pulse is insinuating, I was always expected to cover its cost + shipping.

Nah, I like this figure. I just think Bulkhead as a character concept was a bad idea. I'm actually fairly impressed with the way the designers have translated it into toys (tho I haven't seen the leader size).

Comparing it to the regular one here that my mum got (she likes bumbles too), this one really is superior in its paint apps. I'm surprised hasbro can do their own "henkei treatment" on their own toys.. :D

This is the level that they should be making toys at. Or at least do all of the core characters of every series with the premium treatment AND release them here. Oh well can't complain about the price, but the shipping......

:)I would think the lack of chrome wear would be due to the fact you don't actually transform them they flip themselves up so your not constantly gripping twisting and turning parts causing major rub wear.
