FOC Voyager Soundwave & Soundblaster now out

A world first sighting in Australia by senior staffer Sofaman, are the first of the Voyager Generations FOC toys - Soundwave (with Laserbeak) and Soundblaster (with Buzzsaw), for $50 each at a Toyworld in South Australia.


FoC Soundwave & Soundblaster at Toyworld Adelaide for $49.99. Cyberverse Optimus Maximus for $39.99.

These were suppose to be released in January, so are a little early... I guess because TFPrime is now on a break until Beast Hunters starts in about 4 months time.

I'll post up a photo as soon as someone takes one and posts it up in the sightings section... because once the global fansites find out, they'll demand proof.

My toyworld didn't have Soundwave or Soundblaster :-( They did have all 5 Combaticons and multiple FoC Optimus, Jazz and Shockwave plus lots of wave 1 and 2 of TF Prime.

That price isn't too bad for FOC Voyagers especially if they go into sale, considering this (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=&II=TF2012VOY001-1&lang=us&CatID=) was the cheapest alternative around. Looks like a good chance at nabbing that shortpacked Soundblaster :)

The BBTS one is the Takara version. And RK can't be serious with that price! Are they really $35 each? Why do we have to pay (RRP) $30 for a deluxe here?

Besides being jealous of the fact that for once we got a toy before they did, all the comments by users couldn't believe that we have to pay $50 for a Voyager when they only have to pay only $30. The buggers don't know how lucky they have it!

Yeah, the Energon combiners that were identical were released in different waves, the second two of each were rarer for a long time.

(Just found the TFW2005 comment you mentioned and replied the same thing I just said about Machine Wars - maybe someone else will have an idea.)

For Hasbro, it is a pretty big size-class to NOT space out the redeco. I think it would have been easier to sell Soundblaster later, when the disc-cons were released... and have Grimlock or Blaster released in wave one (Blaster is a redeco as well, but at least it would look a lot different on the store shelf to Soundwave's colours, and is an Autobot with a new mould disc-bot).

The Deployer repaints weren't released in Australia, were they? The Vehicon minions definitely weren't ever released here, we only ever got the Generals. We missed out on Aerodrone (or whateva that toy was called) and we also missed the entire Battle For The Spark sub line which had the Motorcycle Drone and Tank Drone.

I already have WFC Soundwave... can't justify getting the Voyager (especially when he's gonna dwarf Megatron). I might get Soundblaster... hmm...

I went to high school in Parramatta (lol) and my reference was to Parra TRU. If they weren't release here then perhaps that was my mistake. By the time Beast Machines came I guess I wasn't paying too much attention (too much pretending to study, missed the TV series and the toys did not appeal to me).

not a fan of the hasbro deco compared to takara. But the price is the clincher. Especially as BBTS have both Blaster and wave for 53.99
