Does Hasbro now make toys FOR Takara?

I just received an order from robotkingdom today for Arms Master 19 - Unicron, amongst other items. It arrived in a box clearly marked Hasbro, and said
TF PRIME AM-19 GAEA UNICRON. That's the spelling used BTW, rather than Gaia Unicron.

Does Hasbro now make toys for Takara TOMY? I always thought that it was the other way around, somehow. Has anyone had a similar experience with Hasbro Boxes for TakaraTomy products?

Probably just Hasbro HK distributing Takara's Japanese releases.

Yep, it'd be Hasbro Asia.

They distribute a mix of TakTom stuff.

They both use the same factories though.
