It was meant to be out in October while the game was still at its peak... but now it has been delayed (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-the-art-of-fall-of-cybertron-december-11th-release-date/26133/) until December 11th.

It is hardcover, with artwork from both War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.

Would you know if this would only be available via overseas shops?

(I am thinking that perhaps Dymocks can get it in but at a high price...)

Most local retailers could probably do a special order for you. I suggest checking out bookdepository.com (search for ISBN 1613774435). They book is more expensive than amazon but they don't charge shipping so it works out a few dollars cheaper, more if you wait for one of their fairly regular 10% off vouchers. :)

Also try fishpond.com.au as they have an offer to beat Amazon.com's prices.
Nice store, but lousy customer service. They often ship your book or products from overseas, so it can tae an exta 2-3 weeks. If you're not impatient to get it, it might end out cheaper.

I've never received a book in even average condition from Fishpond. I will not do business with them anymore.

Such stupid packing decisions just showed they didn't give a crap.

This is ask slated to be the first entry for Transformers in the IDW Limitrd
Line.

Thanks for the suggestion guys.

I've used Fishpond before, book was delayed and kinda needed it sooner rather than later.

Might try bookdepository.com.

Cheers. :)

Yeah... (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=315601&postcount=3)

Prices have increased slightly since then. I canceled Fishpond and pre-ordered through Amazon UK instead as I have other stuff awaiting shipping with them.

I just checked www.amazon.co.uk price against www.thebookdepository.com and it's $11 (aus) cheaper that amazon as they don't charge for shipping. Of course you have to wait an extra few weeks so I guess it's up to personal preference

Mine's on the way from the BookDespository.com.

(Personally I've never been happy with the way Amazon ships books. I've received them in bags and big boxes where the books have slid around and been damaged)

I've been pretty happy with Amazon UK's packaging, and policies too actually.

Got my copy of The Art of Prometheus a few days ago. Five business days to arrive. Packaging is competent:

Not that I've had a bad experience with The Book Depository/Borders either.

I got an email from the book depoistory yesterday to say mine has shipped - glad it came in earlier than the 12th!

It is a great book for concept art. :)

The Amazon box was beaten about pretty badly but the packaging kept the book in mint condition.

Mine's waiting at the post office. Hopefully I'll be able to get there tomorrow.
