View Full Version : Trying to figure out who some of these are?

So I have Grimstone w/ the Dinobots and Shockwave in this image. However I'm not sure what editions the other two are. I'd gather a Grimlock and Swoop? But not sure which ones. Or if it even is them.

This one I had when I was younger, but for the life of me can't remember who it is. I want to get hold of one again, but not much luck when you don't know the name.

Thats Classics Grimlock. Im sorry but how could you not know :eek: Small one is a mini-con Dino Think also came out in classics.

The third is BM Jetstorm and has been painted from the looks of things.

Well I knew it was a grimlock at the least ahah, just wanted a clarification it was the right one before I went and ordered it overseas etc. Do you mean the mini-con dino came with classic grimlock? Or it's has a classic version as well? Not sure what pack I'm meant to find it it.

And thanks so much, Jetstorm! I thought the color looked odd for some reason as well. But figured it must of just been my childhood memory of him was clouded.

The little pterodactyl is Classics Swoop (http://tfu.info/2006/Autobot/Swoop/swoop.htm). He came in a three-pack of mini-Dinobots along with Knockdown and Terrorsaur. I have a mint on sealed card Deluxe Jetstorm and/or his Sonic Attack Jet drone for sale for $30 each if you're looking:

Thanks for that info on swoop. Now I can go ahead and hunt for him. As for the Jetstorm after finding the name I found the one I was looking for. Which is larger than the two you've shown. Thanks a heap though.

Yeah, that larger one is Ultra Jetstorm. It's a nice mould, but be really careful with the chrome as it can flake quite easily.

Shame I sold off the one I use to have ages ago. Heck I sold all my beast wars / machines. So I've not yet to experience the flaking, does it get quite bad?

You got that right. Oh and I have a deluxe jetstorm in my sale for 15 :-)

Not a giant fan of them, they were just some of the last things I purchased before I sold my old collection off many years ago. Jetstorm was the last purchase I made before selling.
