For those who might remember 3-4 years ago, Hasbro released three Minicon Box-sets.
A 12-pack in 2008 & a 10-pack in 2009 (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/collection/c13.html), and I think both ended up being released here (I know at least one did).
The third set was an 8-pack in 2010, but there was some debate over whether it ever got released (during the low part of the Movie cycle, when releases were cut back).
Until today, I was under the impression that the 8-pack never ended up being produced at all. As it turns out, it was found by a handful of global-fansite members (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/generations-minicon-8-pack-eu-only/20372/) who live in continental Europe (France, Germany, Slovakia, etc), but not in more fan-filled countries like England, Asia or America.
So it has become a rather rare item to find in a sealed state (or at all), but since it wasn't well known, or highly sought after (for just being more endless Minicon recolours), they haven't been heavily scalped (like Euro Gen1, Actionmasters or Gen2 toys).
With the back-story out of the way, one of those 8-pack Minicons has turned up (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/european-exclusive-iron-claw-minicon-found-at-us-retail/26395/) in a single pack at a small chain American store (under the red-carded "Transformers" banner for store exclusives since 2010, which usually just repacks existing figures, and only rarely recolours them (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/collection/c26s5.jpg)).
Iron-Claw is one of the Minicons in the 8-pack, and if the other 7 end up getting released, it will give collectors who can't find the 8-pack, a better chance at collecting the set.
As with other small-size figure repacks/recolours, this is not likely to appear here.
