And this probably wouldn't even be of much interest except that it is allowing me to order it to be shipped to Australia. Like with the Unicron last year (? Year before?) it is quite cheap at ~£35 and standard shipping to Oz is ~£20. with exchange rates that puts the price at ~$75 Australian shipped! If I didn't already have one I would have ordered it, but for those that missed out here it could be a good opportunity.

The only drawback that I could see is that it won't ship until Jan 28th which effectively makes this a preorder, but at that price I'm even tempted to pick up a spare!

Well I've jumped in. Have been tossing up about grabbing the TRU version for a while. All my MPs are the Japenese releases, but the MP10 version is just too pricey and I felt dirty getting the TRU version. But this offer is too good to pass up.

I note that Australia is not on the destination list for Toys and Games so I'm half expecting an email cancelling my order saying there was an error with the system.

Also worth noting is that my actual confirmed order the item is only £29.16 not £34.99 as listed.

If it's being sent overseas then I guess you don't have to pay VAT on it (UK equivalent of GST).

Seems to be the case. The difference is 20% which looks like it is the rate of the VAT on most goods.

Wow. How long do you reckon until you find out if it will ship here? I still haven't opened mine so if it works I might return it to TRU and order an Amazon one.

Hmm, that seems like a good deal. I'm going to order a couple. BTW, how much was he at retail in Oz? (I never found him at TRU).

$149 before X'mas and there was also a 25% off in Nov.

I think it has been very popular, my listing said it would take 1-2 months to be in stock, and could arrive later than Feb 18th!

But for the price, certainly worth it.

Product Features

Energon axe snaps on
Trailer has storage areas for Ion Cannon and Energon axe
Ages 5 and up

I think they count the trailer as part of the main figure.

There's reports that Amazon are sending out cancellation emails due to a "pricing error". Anyone got one of these emails yet? Seems it may have been too good to be true after all.:(

"Well that's just Prime"!

Received the same email.

Cannot say I'm surprised by this, the price was too good. Too bad Amazon do not have the same legal obligation to sell items at displayed price as Aussie retailers! :D

How does that old saying go again... if it's too good to be true it probably is. Who knows though, their revised pricing might not be too bad and still be better than buying locally. Fingers crossed for those still after one!

Like many I'm a bit taken aback that one person decided to tell Amazon and Hasbro it was too cheap.

Jin Saotome.

Must've decided that if people got the figure for the price amazon quoted, then they wouldn't spend stupid amounts of money n his decent custom jobs. I don't understand why he had to post his "mightier than thou" rant on the review section.

Some of the other posts are hilarious, thanks for the link snaketales.

Not bad at all, Jin, 7/10 for this troll post. You almost convinced me... until you mentioned Hasbro. A bit self-entitled aren't we... lol.

Honestly though, do any of you guys actually think that this guy has the balls to single-handedly influence both Amazon AND Hasbro to remove this for others? Amazon most likely caught this pricing error themselves.

But really Jin, if it makes you feel any better, I can share my Jetwing Optimus Prime with you. You know, the one I payed $50 on Amazon for while you spent over $200? No that's right, you'd rather relieve your envy through wasting half an hour coming up with this pathetic essay to troll others.

Amusingly, MP-04 at Amazon.uk is now listed at UKP730 - about eleven hundred dollars Australian.

Wow, that's ambitious! :eek::eek:

Curious about how much MP-04's 3.2 kg bulk would cost to ship to Oz I added it to cart, but the seller won't ship to Oz.

Gee, darn.
