I'd think that the Blu-Ray release here would include this bonus feature, so here is an advance look at the Live Guide insert that will come with the US Blu-Ray release in September. (BD-Live is online access to bonus materials to download to your BR player)

Looks like I'm going to need a BR Player soon... :o

Blue Ray still doesn't have me convinced. Their library is still too small and although the quality is notably greater than DVD, it doesn't call for upgrade.

I guess that is ok for people who were suckered in by the PS3 :p

:rolleyes:It's also a more expensive medium to buy. HD-DVD was a cheaper medium but instead of exploiting this positive they thought they'd screw the average person, in the end I think this cost them.

It's a mild upgrade mostly made available to re-introduce the draconian locks that Hollywood adores so greatly. That being said, if you have a big fat flat screen, the difference is noticeable, but I'll stick with DivX on my 24" for the time being... simply on principle.

I'm on the fence about Blu. I got some HD DVDs but rather than putting in the disc and watching the movie like I should have I was always looking at how awful it looked on screen.

It is my monitor, but still ..

i wonder if they have picture in picture yet. If had the transformers movie on hd dvd for the past year or so, and i must say it's probably going to be better than the blu-ray version. blu-ray is still very behind with interactive features as compare to hd dvd.

Does anyone how the player connects online and how secure it is?
