From the looks of the photo, it seems like nothing has been altered.

The original was a cool if cumbersome figure let down by the usual cheap paint apps. If the actual toy turns out as good as those photos this would be worth getting.

Obscure character to re-release at this stage however. How about a Que/Leadfoot/Soundwave 3 pack instead?

I have seen some samples with the G1 canon snapped but it isn't exactly super fragile. You have to be fairly rough with the toy to break the canon.

I remembered passing up on leader Brawl when it was discounted to $50 or so. I never had an issue with the original release of the leader brawls turret. I liked the transformation and overall I think it's a very good leader class figure.

the new paint scheme is very nice but even at $150, it's a bit steep. I keep in mind that leader figures retail in the states for $50...

I think I'll just hang onto my original brawl. but like others have said, if you missed out on this mold, I hope you can get this for a reasonable price.

That looks amazing, I would of loved the head to of been purple as well though. The blue kind of doesn't blend with the other purple parts.

That pre-order price is pretty good, considering what the going prices on eBay are for the original and Deep Desert repaints.

That emblem was there on the original, so I guess TakaraTomy decided to keep it there for this release. It's not screen-accurate, though...

I assume so. I haven't read of any mods being made to the mold etc, just that it's a repaint.

I love this mold. One of the better leaderclass molds from the movie line...pretty much the best from TFTM.
