To all Ozformers located in NSW, please play it safe today as the heatwave crosses the state. In Bega, on the NSW south coast, temperatures rose nearly 20C in just three hours this morning. The city reached 39C at 9am after an overnight low of 15.4C at 6am. Richmond is currently on 36.4 degrees and climbing fast.

Stay indoors if possible and drink plenty of water.

Its Currently 34-36 in the City at the moment depends on where you look. nice in comfy in the office 20 stories up tho :p

Yeah we are on high alert. Received 2 text messages and an automated phone call warning us which is appreciated. Honestly though I think I'm safe. Just wish I was home in my pool.

Wollongong uni bar is the place to be. Whatever the temperature is that is the discount you get on your drink. Ie: if its 40 degrees then you get 40% off your beer:cool:

And im travelling home in a nice air con crew cab. It feels a bit nippley, i may have to turn it down :p

Though i gotta walk home from the station in the western heat. Today is just so damn hot. I gotta leave for work at 2am, hopefully it will be cooler than this morning.
