AUS vs US release dates

As I was updating the 2012 checklist (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=13011) and starting up the 2013 one (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=15196), I was looking at all the waves we missed out on here (at this time), and how late we were with many others... and wondered how it would look to condense that info into a chart.

So, here it is...

I'm just having a look at BBTS, and I'm pretty sure Prime DLX W6 was just a reassortment - no new figures, and Voyager W5 doesn't seem to exist.

Edit: I know we've generally always missed the final wave of toys from a particular line, but having all that info in one block demonstrates the scale of what we missed out on this year!

Look on the link to the checklist, which is where I said I got the info from.

Which is where I noted that Deluxe Wave 6 doesn't have any new figures (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?p=327623#post327623), but the checklist will note specific "numbered" Waves in case there is another wave after it, and people question the missing Wave number.
My thinking is that Wave 6 may have been for Frenzy and Gears, but perhaps Hasbro felt that there were already too many non-show characters clogging shelves, so cancelled them after the Wave was already pre-ordered by retailers. The fact that six Waves exist for retailers to purchase (if they sell enough existing stock), shows how slow we are with turnover of stock, behind America.

And as noted in the post above, Voyager Wave 5 is Skyquake.

The overall pattern is clear: we tend to get first waves at the same time as the US, but retailers are slower to bring out successive waves, to the point where they skip entirely on late waves.

Just walking around retailers and seeing all the bumblebees choking shelves suggests it's because Aussie retailers can't clear old stock fast enough.
