Two new Japanese Generations toys have been revealed (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-generations-japan-tg-19-grimlock-and-tg-20-ratbat-176640/) - TG-19 Grimlock & TG-20 Ratbat.

Grimlock is the Voyager FOC one recently released by Hasbro (in nicer colours), while Ratbat is the DLX Generations Scourge (in purple and a new head).

Release date is June, which is plenty of time to see if Hasbro are going to be releasing Ratbat (since it has a new head)... as Toyfair and BotCon are during that time.

I like my Sideways as Ratbat, but I like the look of Scourge as Ratbat too. Hmm. The former can sit with WFC toys as a Cybertronian mode Ratbat and the other with Classics toys as a Earth mode Ratbat. Done.

Well, Senator Ratbat looks really nice, sporting the mysterious head we saw in Generations Scourge's instructions, if I'm not mistaken.

Looking forward to clearer images of Grimlock though, not seeing much of a difference at the moment.

Nice to see a senator form of Ratbat. I thought Hasbro would've jumped on that first. Good show.
Grimlock doesn't look that much better to me, looks pretty much the same.

The black fists on Grimlock are a massive improvement IMO! Though not sure if it's really worth importing one... (-_-)

Darn. They had to block of his crotch area.:p:D
If it's red, it will look so much better.

Good news, Grimlock's guts are red. :p

For those who haven't seen them, seibertron posted some clearer pictures (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-clear-images-takara-tomy-transformers-generations-tg19-grimlock-and-tg20-ratbat/26574/) of the two.

Wow! I really want Ratbat, he looks beautiful.

Preorders up on HLJ (http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?Word=transformers&DisplayMode=grid&Dis=2&Sort=std&qid=YOMJ4KUU1WRWP2D&set=1&q=1&SeriesID2=5519) and Hobbysearch (http://www.1999.co.jp/search_e.asp?Typ1_c=101&scope=0&scope2=0&itkey=transformers) too.
