Given the high-wear nature of transforming toys modding and doing custom paint jobs will be rough on paint. What do people use to get durable but bright and matte colours?

Prepping the surface is more important than anything else. Wet sand it all over with a foam sanding stick and apply a good primer.

Thanks, I'll track down some of these foam sanding sticks and get started with my regular citadel paints, from memory they're acrylic.
