And a good 2 and a half days before most of the other TF sites Griffin!

From the cover solicitations it looks like Trailbreaker may be facing off against Lockdown, so I wonder if this ties into the main MtMtE story or is a true standalone? Trailbreaker getting some love, albeit in Trailcutter form.

I worry about Regen, if it is only going to #100 then the next 3 months look to be mostly treading water in the Grimlock/CNA story.

The blurb on the Trailcutter/Trailbreaker story describes it as being part of the MTMTE story. I think every spotlight has tied in somewhere in their story universe... have they ever done a spotlight that was just a stand-alone story?

Spotlight Mirage is the only Spotlight that springs to mind that is stand alone.

Trailcutter seems to be happening in the "here and now" whereas the other recent (since the MtMtE/RiD split) have been set in the past, tied to Metroplex. Even the Megatron spotlight is set in the more recent past in the ongoing, so if Trailcutters spotlight occurs simultaneously with the MtMtE story, it'll be an interesting change.

Ramjet was a pretty standalone too. I guess it kinda ties into the New Avengers crossovers, Ramjet's on Earth, and it takes place at the same time as the regular series but if you skipped it you're not missing anything and it's never been referenced again.

I think the Trailcutter story looks like a standalone adventure too that will slot in somewhere, like the Annual but i doubt it would be essential to the story. The description sounds like a couple of Star Trek TNG/VOY eps to me.

I hope the Trailcutter spotlight will earn him a toy. I'd really like one.
IDW seems like the best way for Hasbro to go with the revived Generations Line.
The spotlight comics seem awesome though.
