Where to see/buy Transformers in Tokyo Japan

Hey all,

Currently working in Tokyo Japan for another week or so and wanting to see if anyone knows of the best place to go see and possibly buy Transformers from. I am also interested in 3rd party stuff too.

Working in Akihabra and staying in Shinjuku but should be able to get to anywhere in Tokyo if someone has a good recommendation. :)

Akihabra was full of shops with TF's! Have you been to the Gundamm Cafe there too?

No haven't been in Gundam Cafe yet, it is just across from the office though. So should be able to fit that in no problem :)

Had a quick look around and saw some TF's only a small amount. Did find a shop that old stuff down the road a bit. But was looking to see if there a big TF stocker nearby.

Regular department, toy and electronics/camera stores often stock Transformers. For more specialty stores, check out Heroic Decepticon's Guide (http://otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=11556). :) Regular stores won't stock third party stuff, but the specialty ones might.

Hey Im in Akihabara at the moment, best shop by far is mandarake Nakano (see heroics blog) i posted pics in the january acquisition thread. Nice arrange of G1 stuff, not sure about moderns as i dont collect them

Went to Nakano Broadway... man is that place awesome! Was there for hours.
They had some Transformers that were tempting but not quite tempting enough. I ended up buying a whole swag of Dragonball Z figurines! haha. But man that place is Toy nirvana! Although I think that could be said of most prefectures in Japan so far. I'll post a pic of the DBZ stuff in other toys thread.

they have transformers. in storage you have to say the password and they give you the good stuff
