Not 100% proof but a Spotlight for Hoist really backs up the assumption a new Hoist toy is coming. All the over current Spotlights either have a toy or would be an unannounces repaint of an exisiting toy.

The figure on the alternate cover (http://i.newsarama.com/images/Transformers-Hoist_Spotlight_cvrRI.jpg) looks more like a Movieverse toy and not much like his MTMTE appearance. It looks kind of like Movie Ratchet really. Hope a toy reveal comes soon enough so the guessing can stop. :)

I'd like to read the comics, but there are just too many to keep up with. And they never cost just 3.99:(

Nah, it's a redeco of the Generations Trailcutter toy (http://cdn.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attach/4/0/5/9/7/A2375-TRAILCUTTER-Robot-Mode_1360456290.jpg), from the wheel locations, kneecaps, thing behind the head, chest sculpting, and even the shoulder sculpting.

That's a better pic to compare to than the Toyfair photo I was looking at.

So, IDW Deluxes with comics wave 2: Thundercracker, Hoist and...?

Another repaint?

Some intriguing names of groups dropped in these solicits, many that we have not seen before.

Hoist's taking place pretty much now is interesting too, I can hazard a guess at the 5 cons he meets... uh-oh.

Actually, I'm really happy for there to be a Spotlight: Hoist coming out. I did suspect toywise it would be a reco of Trailbreaker/cutter but that's ok by me, bound to be better than the Rescue Bots version ;).

In the IDW comics I have felt there have been a few iconic early G1 Autobots who have received absolutely no attention besides the odd cameo. In particular Hoist, Grapple, Inferno, Powerglide, Gears, Huffer, Seaspray etc. In particular I was kinda disappointed to see that Hoist and Grapple were on the 'Lost Light' rather than Cybertron in the new comics, I thought that Hoist could serve as a medic on Cybertron since Ratchet was on the LL, and Grapple as the main architect for the new world since Scrapper was dead. Instead they both seem to have gotten very minor status in MTMTE, so for him to get his own Spotlight?... GO HOIST I say! :D

Hoist, Grapple, Inferno, Powerglide, Gears and Huffer are all aboard the Lost Light. ;) Seaspray though, I'm not sure where he is.

Looking at that pic, if they are going to start giving some of the background characters their own Spotlight, I wonder if we will get a Spotlight: Mainframe? :D (Since I doubt he will be getting his own toy this year I'm guessing not)

We've had toys of other "exclusive Actionmasters", so I'd be excited if we kept getting more... even if a Mainframe toy did just transform into a block (like Soundwave).

So far we've had Kick-off (BotCon), Jackpot (Club), Banzaitron (Movie-verse), Axer (Movie-verse), Circuit (Club), Thundercracker (BotCon), Slicer (BotCon).

Ones left (have any of these been redone as a convertible toy?) - Sprocket, Over-Run, Rad, Rollout, Mainframe, Skyfall, Gutcruncher, Treadshot, Krok, Powerflash, Take-Off, Rumbler, Charger, Windmill.

We got Legion Sparkcrusher aka Gutcruncher in one of the movie lines, Axer in Robots in Disguise as well and technically Cybertron Smokescreen is supposed to be Rad.

I just really want someone to make Treadshot out of Generations Warpath. I likes me some Action Masters.

Double Punch got a (Botcon) Toy as well, You forgot Turbomaster as well

The "exclusive Actionmasters" bit was meant to mean, Actionmasters that weren't based on pre-existing toys/characters.... leaving us with new designs/alt-modes that we never saw. Turbomaster and Doublepunch were like Omega Spreem, in that they appear to be modelled after pre-existing toys or characters, so we knew what they already transformed in to (or should have transformed in to). Which is why I didn't mention them, as they could be done as redecos of existing Gen1 toys.
The ones I did list were ones that never had their alt-modes officially revealed, leaving it up to our imagination... and FunPub/Hasbro to allocate one 20 years later.
