As bad my various experiences have been from ordering from their website (which I will never do again), their ebay store (http://stores.ebay.com/robokingdom?_trksid=p4340.l2563) was a lot more reliable and positive experience.
The "immediate payment" setting prevents you from being able to be quoted a bulk-buy shipping discounted amount, and after I received my 3 toys in the one box, I did have to ask if they were going to refund any of the shipping amount (if a seller forces you to buy the items separately and then sends them all together, it would be nice to have a refund of some or all of the difference - I've seen some sellers state that they won't give a shipping discount if they send items together, so I will space out my purchases to make sure they don't gain extra profit from the postage they are charging me).
To my surprise, they actually responded to my query, and in shorter time than they refund store-ordered items, a third of the total shipping amount was refunded.
Hope this is a regular thing from them, and not just a momentary lapse of concentration.
If so, I'd recommend their ebay store... just not their website store. (I guess they have more accountability on ebay than with their own website)
Their ebay name is Oceankingtoy (http://myworld.ebay.com/oceankingtoy/), and their ebay store is called Robokingdom (http://stores.ebay.com/robokingdom) (minus the T).

just to share, i had ordered a Encore Devastator and a Animated Arcee. everything went fine except for the shipping where (to a certain extent its not their fault) the hanging hook of Animated Arcee's card got caught into the windows of my Encore Devastator, other than that everything went well, it helps that they are based in Hong Kong which is nearer to where i live in (Singapore)

I've been ordering from them for years and never knew that had an eBay presence as well. I'm familiar with 'Oceankingtoy' because that's what shows on Paypal / credit card whenever I make a purchase. It seems a lot of online companies are doing this these days i.e. having their own web-store as well as using eBay.

Pretty sure their ebay store doesn't have their full inventory on there. Their actual RK store website is probably more up to date too.
Personally I've found them good to deal with, but certainly not perfect.
Low prices, simple and accurate ordering system and quick to rectify any customer related issues. Communication could be a little better though

Their ebay store doesn't have everything, but can sometimes have one-off items no longer on their store site... and if you're lucky, since they often list multiple items in US$ and GBPounds, you can save several dollars if you pick the one with the better current exchange rate.

hey quick question there inventory tagged with re-stock , does that mean its in-stock ready to ship or not :S

It just means they got in more stock - The thing to take note though is down below if you can add to cart or it says "in stock". When they sell out it will still say "re-stock" (until they change the page title), but will be "out of stock" at the bottom.

ah crap , so i placed an order through robotkingdom tonight , and paid for it through paypal, not realizing that my paypal hasn't been updated to my new address , so they've received the wrong postal address, i sent an email to the email address noted in there confirmation of order email (info@robotkingdom.com) asking them to change the postal address.. is there any cause for me to worry? its a substantial sized order and i'd hate for it to get sent to my old house!!!!

Keep sending emails to any email address of theirs you can find until you get a reply saying that they acknowledge the address change. It might seem like harasment, but they have your money, so need to be accountable for your business... (their lack of communication was one reason I don't buy from them anymore)

Hey guys,
Wanted to offer up my first experience with rk. Purchased on the 24th. Was at my office today (28th). Extremely surprised. Extremely well packaged (my biggest concern).
Apart from learning a lesson about shipping this kind of thing to the office (see the branding on the delivery box below) this was a really great experience. Will definitely be buying from them again and soon.
Some pics for reference and my haul.
Appreciated the comments already in this thread (and forum). I am a recently new collector (but old school tf lover) and am looking forward to sharing with you over the journey.

In case you didn't know, for large packages like that, there's pretty much no reason to ever choose EMS shipping on RK's website, because the option "Registered Air Mail Parcel" will be significantly cheaper and always comes within 3-5 days anyway.
I'm not sure of the reason, but it seems like larger size packages might be cheaper for them to send with the better shipping method. Since their postage costs (to us) are already more than 'actual', they don't bother requesting more money or of course, refunding anyone any difference, but the packages come faster than you'd expect!

Thing is it the cost is over $100 or $200 they have to ship ems.
Well that's what learned from my experience.
Anyways never had a problem with RK. Always professional and nice to deal with. It's like bbts but with cheaper/better prices. :-)

Absolutely superb service from RobotKingdom as per usual.
Item was extremely swiftly sent, with Sydney Customs taking longer to handle the package than RK did!
Item was pack supremely safely, which is a trend I've yet to see falter from them
With this particular item I have been greatly looking forward to receiving & RobotKingdom has once again proven that I made the right choice when Preordering this beast all the way back in June 2012. ;)

emailed RK on the 9th of January about updating my order to the new address. was told to update my address with paypal. I did so told them and then the 24th came and it was mailed out only to be sent to my old address.
this is the first time they've stuffed up so badly for me. so annoyed.

I ordered stuff from RK for the first time a few months ago. Since then, my emails were responded to within 24 hours. Just before they shipped my package, they said I needed to have it upgraded to EMS because it was too big. Once I paid for that upgrade, I received my package a couple of days later (very fast). Also as a side note, they actually asked me if I wanted to be added to their e-newsletter subscription, which I appreciate (unlike bbts who just added my email to their list without asking me first).
The items were well packaged, and all in good MISMB condition (which is important to me). I even got the MP-13 Soundwave Commemorative coin along with the MP, which I was pleased about.
So all in all, my first experience with RK was pretty good.

Shipping is VERY cheap, especially since it's in HK. They're fast too.
My bbts order took 2 weeks and shipping was a pain for my classics Soundwave.:(
BBTS have very good packaging though.
RK has alright packing but not too spectacular. Basically a hasbro box usually with newspaper, bubble wrap and a couple sheets of foam.:D
Really depends on what you're looking for.

RK is cheaper and faster, but all preorders are pay up front, therefore you must commit.
BBTS is a little more expensive but they have the pile of loot system and no commitment preorders which makes them a great choice if you're in no rush a have a few things in your p.o.l to make it worth shipping.

Don't do it. I've just recently moved from Robot Kingdom to BBTS. Yeah it's more expensive and the shipping times are slower but you are paying for the far superior customer service. You have a problem and BBTS are there no questions asked. You can forget about an exchange or refund with RK, unless you paid with PayPal within 45 days, because you're gonna have to apply the dispute option.

yeah they have yet to reply to me regarding the mailing error... almost month agoHassle them. I sent 1 email a week to them for a while before they helped me out to replace some broken MPs. RK did not cause these issues but they can send that stock back to takara.
I had to get RK to fix another issue, this time my Amazon MP Sideswipe arrived without the bonus piledrivers. I emailed them about it once and they sent me a tracking number a few days later. I expect them to arrive this week. Whether they have improved their practise, or it was an easy fix, or clearly their packing fault i am not sure but this last issue seems much better handled by RK.

RobotKingdom's customer service is really, really weird. Most of the time everything was fine. I had an address to send things to, they sent them, all good.
However, when I needed to change an address, or clarify something, I could send email after email and get no response. The best way to hold them to accounts is to go on Facebook and demand an explanation. Even when they reply to your email you will need to harrass them on Facebook in order to get them to reply to your email and so on.
Basically, have your stuff sorted out because RobotKingdom don't have theirs.
(BBTS, though, were amazing at customer service and I always got prompt and quick replies so it's not that it can't be done. )

Well, I've ordered only once from RK (Ace Seeker Set) and although no customer service was needed (no issues at all), they shipped very promptly and fast.

Cost me $16-$17 to get MP-16 delivered and like $30 odd to get something like APS-01 Striker Prime delivered. Its better than ebay postage prices. You also save on multiple purchases.

The only flaw I see in the POL is that you might want to get stuff from different places and things might be exclusive to others, which may arise some problems, but it really helps if you're patient and it's always glorious when you receive heaps of things in one gigantic box.:D;)

I should have posted earlier and definately taken pics but weeks ago RK sent me the missing piledrivers from MP-Sideswipe. They were packed in the same sized postage box that my MP-Sideswipe came in and it was 99% full of the typical RK styrofoam sheets with a tiny pair of piledrivers in the middle. It was pretty funny, so much that my wife thought i had bought a deluxe size figure when the Fort Max box arrived. Lol :D

Well, I did my first ever Robot Kingdom order 2 weeks ago. And still waiting for it to be delivered.
Contacted Aust Post and they saying its in Sydney ATM. Why the hell is it going from Hong Kong to Sydney then to Perth? Everything else that I get from Hong Kong normally takes 3 days to get to Perth. Won't be using RK again. My BBTS order was done 1 and a half weeks ago and got it early last week.......brilliant service!

23rd April 2013, 01:56 PM
I don't use RK anymore because of their non-existent customer service when something goes wrong, but in that instance, that's the postal service at fault, not RK. The mail service will use any plane available (on the airlines they have contracts with) to fly freight, but only if there is space available (to cost less to the postal service - reserved space would be for more expensive freight options). If there was a full flight on the direct passenger plane to Perth, then it would go to Perth via another destination if it is a cheaper option. All they (foreign postal services) care about it getting the packages to Australia at the cheapest means possible.... then it is the problem of Australia post to deal with it.
Now if RK had charged and promised a shipping option that guaranteed delivering within a set period of time, then they would be paying the postal service to pay airlines and Australia Post to prioritise that package (over regular/economy packages).

You get charged straight away. I prefer that method cause I know when I'm paying for it unlike release dates which can change and end up clashing with other expenses.

I'm in a position where I've preordered 2 items, but want to 'add' more to it, in order to save on combined postage. I'd made a mistake where I didn't add all 3 in up front...

Asked them via Facebook to explain the massive difference in what I pay for postage vs what is on the postage label
Hello,
Thank you for your email.
Let me briefly explain to you about this.
Despite from the shipping cost, there are also other costs included in the parcel. The shipping cost you paid on our website, indeed, should be stated as Shipping and Handling cost.
The handling cost could include the following:
Protection material
Outer Parcel Box
Salary for packing staff
Transportation to post office.
So the shipping cost is not the exact amount printed on the parcel form.
Hope this is able to solve your questions.
Yours Sincerely,
Daniel

I think RK's prices are quite reasonable considering an MP03 Starscream posted from Perth to Sydney was, IIRC, $30+. A comparable item, MP03G shipped from RK in Hong Kong is $25USD or $28 AUD.

So, after the red cassette that shipped with one of my MP Soundwaves was missing a pin to hold his head on, I contacted Robot Kingdom to arrange a replacement. After photos/etc to show the fault, they agreed.
I requested that, as they require returns to be shipped via trackable/insured/etc that the the cost was $xx, they reimburse me or cut their losses on the faulty item they supplied.
They agreed, and after saying a replacement would go out in the next couple of days (which meant I didn't cut my losses with RK and order a replacement cheap off eBay while there was one), and then cut off all communication.
After no less than 5 emails, all rather polite, I hit up their Facebook page (being a public forum) and I finally get a response. They've changed their mind, and now require via letter, me to send the faulty part back. Fine, except for the cost, I might as well just hit up eBay.
I've now told them I'll be taking it to PayPal, and they've got 24 hours before I do so.
Absolutely rubbish customer service. I don't mind slow service. I loathe liars.

A similar problem was what led me to boycott them about 3 years ago (a faulty figure that I wanted to exchange), and I haven't bought from them since.
Since I don't have facebook, they just kept ignoring my emails (I was using 4 different ones of theirs).
They are a registered business that buys from Hasbro, or from a source that buys from Hasbro, so they have the ability to claim back credit from their source for faulty products so that they aren't out of pocket. And any extra shipping that they are liable to cover is just part of the risk of running that sort of business and should be factored into the profit margin. They just don't want the extra hassle of dealing with customers after they've made a sale... but don't realise that looking after your customers after a sale is how you keep your customers coming back.
(like BBTS do)
It's interesting to see that over 10% of people voting here recommend using them due to issues... while another 10% have had minor problems that may or may not have been fixed up. That's like 1 in 4 people not having a satisfactory transaction with RK.
And they were such a great business when they started up.

A similar problem was what led me to boycott them about 3 years ago (a faulty figure that I wanted to exchange), and I haven't bought from them since.

I'll happily give them the chance to rectify the situation. Failing that, I will do everything I can to get a full refund on my defective merchandise without spending a single dime to do so. If they want it returned, they can damn well pay for it, via the methods they request, and get bent over the counter at Australia Post with the rates they charge.
I've never had an issue with BBTS, and although their prices are higher, it's something I'm more than willing to deal with for prompt response and great customer service without having to resort to a public shaming.
Which will continue if this isn't resolved.

Issue resolved. They sent out a replacement Frenzy or Rumble (red), and as an apology, packed in a set of 4 gum/candy toys.
A lovely thought, but I'd never buy gum toys, and certainly not after my experience with them - starscream shattered into pieces when assembling, prime's peg busted on assembly, prowl had issues (caused by my misassembly), and tigertrack ended up in the bin in pieces after dealing with the other three.
A nice thought, but eh.
Also: too many hoops to jump through for me to consider RK for a while.

I think you'll find that a lot of overseas sellers think they are doing you a favour by not declaring the true value of your purchase so you don't incur additional import fees/taxes. However it would probably be in your best interest to tell them to declare the full amount because as you stated if you needed to make an insurance claim for lost or damaged goods you may only be able to recover the amount or a percentage of the amount declared. Keep in mind that purchases under $1000 AUD are tax and duty free so it shouldn't be an issue if you are making regular purchases of a few hundred dollars here and there.

I'm a loyal RK customer, and have never had a problem before like this.
But I order Horse Starscream to be sent via EMS, so that he'd arrive by Christmas. The box arrived today couriered, but to my horror when I opened it I found it was instead Horse Optimus! I'd had zero interest in another prime repaint (Hasbro one's is superb as is). and I doubt that RK will be able to take action and get it here on time :(
Has anyone ever received a completely different product, or someone else's order? There's a twenty dollar price difference, and he's differently shaped too.

Well I finally have my Supreme Horse Starscream in hand (which is AWESOME btw), and they had me post the toy to another Australian customer and issued me a credit refund for the postage. While I'm still disappointed it wasn't there for Christmas day, I am impressed with the way they dealt with it and their communication.
Its bad when a company makes a mistake, but very good and reassuring to know that they will remedy it. Definitely keep buying from them as a customer.

I just made a large order (for me) from RK of two waves of deluxes and some voyager generations figures and shipping was decent, but more expensive than it wouldve been 6 months ago for the same size delivery.
Shipping everywhere has gone up alot, maybe to co-incide with the Christmas period, but I doubt it'll go back down.
Shame as the higher shipping now makes many orders cost more than Australian retail which is already too high. (this order made deluxes about AU$26 each and the voyagers $39, so about Big W prices :()
It did arrive quickly, ordered Thursday night, arrived the next Tuesday lunchtime and was packed very well.

Unfortunately the box for Dirge looks like it has been opened or the tape at least torn with some of the box art stuck to the tape and there is also a tear in the flap. I'm not too fussed since I don't collect MP's for the box appearance but it is notable.
Upon inspection and transformation of Dirge I've discovered that one of his leg jet thruster is extended further then the other one thus making him stand lopsided in robot mode it is particularly annoying and I have not been able to even out the thrusters to enable him to stand properly.

So I ordered Toys Alliance MAS-01 from RK and have hit a snag. According to it's tracking no. it is stuck in limbo and hasn't moved for almost 4 weeks.
TNT gave me a call a few days ago asking for a Con-note & Invoice but Robot Kingdom says there is no Con-note and they don't ship items with an invoice. So it seems I am somewhat stuck in the middle between the two.
And I have to say that RK have not been overly helpful, it feels like they're palming me off and trying to get me to sort it out. Not happy after paying $70USD for EMS shipping.

What do you mean by "limbo"?
Ultimately it is uo to RK to sort it out, or you can go through PayPal.

Well by "limbo" I mean the package is stuck somewhere between RobotKingdom and my house.
TNT are telling me that they cannot process the delivery of the item because it has no Con-note. Alice at RobotKingdom told me: "There is no Con-note, and I cannot help for this issue".
I forwarded that on to TNT and TNT have said that is not correct. Items must have a Con-note and cannot be delivered without one.
So it seems RobotKingdom have stuffed up after charging me $70USD for shipping and are now trying to wash their hands of it.
I have an e-mail trail from Alice & Cherrie at RK. Happy to post here as evidence for all to see.
It'll be 4 weeks tomorrow that the item left Hong Kong. I have had no experience like this before. Is a Paypal claim the best option or is there something else to try?

That's a shame, Alice has helped me out a few times with faulty products and sourcing replacement parts. :(
My advice is to give them all due warning and then proceed with a PayPal dispute if you have to.

Thanks a lot for the advice, Tober. I have advised both RK & TNT of exactly that and if the package hasn't been received by COB tomorrow, then I'll be making a claim thru PayPal.
I'm done with RobotKingdom that's for sure.

I'm surprised the shipment was picked up without a consignment note, I was under the impression that the courier would not accept a package without one. that's certainly been my experience in the past.

Man I am getting so incredibly annoyed at Robot Kingdom's laziness and incompetence. I forwarded all the e-mails I have from TNT which explained that the package can't be processed without a Con-note & Invoice.
RK's repsonse? Asked me to "simplify the case" and explain why it is being held by TNT. So even though RK charged me $70USD in shipping & handling fees, now they expect me to sort out the delivery problems as well.
I told them firmly (but still politely enough) that it is up to them to sort out and if I don't receive the parcel by tomorrow, I will lodge a claim thru PayPal. IMO 4 weeks is more than enough time for an EMS parcel to make it from Hong Kong to Adelaide.

You are lucky. My order from the 28th is still processing because they can't find an item I purchased. They asked if I wanted to swap for a different item, which I did. They have been silent ever since. They are always great......until something goes wrong, then they don't want to know about it.

That's a shame, I have always gotten really nice boxes and the best packaging from RK. Unfortunately no-one guarantees box condition except for say BBTS when you pay extra for collectors grade.
I ordered doubles of Dirge from RK in May just before it was released and requested mint boxes. They actually emailed me to say they couldn't guarantee this and asked was I ok to continue the order on that basis. I said yes and it all worked out ok. It seems like given it is now August, they have a lower inventory and so the boxes are less likely to be minty. Unfortunately this is another side effect of the PC bungle where we all had to scramble to order elsewhere.

8th August 2017, 11:21 PM
I understand that this may be one of the few stocks left so im not really expecting a very minty box but still i dont't think they should be sending opened boxes without letting the customer know. I already messaged them saying they have sent me an opened box which took them 2 days to process the item and still this is what i get?
Yes i also just got refund from that company so i ran to RK immediately for Dirge, but given this situation is just cutting all my interest in this hobby :(

I dont think customs opened this as RK already replied my query:
"Thank you for your email.
It is very common for the factory to carry out random quality check before shipping out the item.
Unless otherwise specify, we did not opened the item before shipping out.
The MP-11ND is brand new from original carton box."
So is it a blame to Takara or Hasbro Asia? Well nevermind that is it good bye RK should have paid a bit more at Nippon Yasan

It is blame to the factory. This has nothing to do with the shop. It could happen from any store, whether it is RK, NY or HLJ.

Still, knowing collectors and the target audience, it is good practice to ask the customer if they want a damaged box. Even Australia's Shittiest Retailer(TM) states on their website if certain products have damaged boxes.

From what i know factory cut the tape and tape it again that is why there are double taped items. I have never had any MP box delivered to me where tape has been torn just this one. I know this happens with MPs sold at TRU as ive seen almost all on clearance had the tape torn and retaped by TRU.

Ordered some gundam model kits from long ago and customs did a check, had the letter in there saying they've done an inspection and the model kits box was scratched like they flung a box cutter over the top and a tear mark across the sides as if they stuck some tape on the side of the model kit's box and just went TEEEAAAARR
They...can't get consent, they just carry on their checks and inform you after they've done it, I'd of course say no lol.
Of all the things to check they check a bunch of plastic sprues, truly a random search as any

They could in theory completely open the packaging if they suspect the contents are illegal, though I assume they'd only go that far if any scans on it revealed a shape/material that warranted a physical inspection.
Most of the time it would just involve them opening the shipping box and confirming there's nothing carefully placed inside.

I made a large order with them a few weeks ago, a lot of it is still on pre-order. they emailed me and asked if they could ship it in two separate shipments because the shipping method I picked didn't allow for the total volume of stuff I ordered. I said that would be fine. so they shipped half of my order, there is still some in-stock stuff with them waiting for the remainder of my pre-orders.
It took just a matter or days, was well packed, came with a hand full of those DoTM trading cards and I now have half of my order in hand.
Excellent service especially since there was no extra charge to send it in separate lots.

Shipping is very high on single items. If you try adding things to the order you will see the incremental shipping is very low. So it pays to order a number of items together or group order.

I do too! I value their excellent packing, service and certainty of delivery. Never been let down by them.
They are not always ridiculous on the shipping. I've got 2x Golden Lagoon Optimus and 2x MP-17+ Prowl in my cart and the Registered Air Parcel shipping is US$75, that's only US$9 more than the quote for one Blitzkrieg. The more you add the better it gets on average shipping per unit basis. For example adding another 2x Prowl only adds US$12 to the quote. That's why it's best to order in bulk.

Has anyone successfully cancelled a pre-order with RK?I recently made two pre-orders and they quickly agreed to combine them. However, I then requested to cancel one of the items I pre-ordered and they have not responded to multiple emails.
It states in their policy that this is allowed and it's the first item I've ever sought to cancel. I'm even saying that I wish to put in another order separately such that I will still be spending more with them so I am surprised, they are usually very good to deal with.

I've always found them pretty good at responding to requests to vary items after purchase. Never had an issue with them agreeing to cancel a pre-order or replace one purchase for another.
They also normally reply within 24 hours to emails I have sent. Perhaps give it a day and try again? Don't forget they are a few hours behind us so maybe someone will look at it today.

My experience with RK on this matter differs to Raider. RK is quick to respond when adding item(s) to an existing order or combining orders BUT reluctant to cancel items / pre-orders. That was a few years ago.

Thanks for that feedback mate. Was going to quote my history with them and threaten a Paypal dispute in my next email but hopefully it won't come to that.

Just sent RK a very strongly worded final email. Detailed my amount spent dating back to 2014, that cancelling orders is allowed per their ordering policy and I even said I will increase the order by substituting a Megatron for a Laserwave and Prowl.
I have given them till tomorrow to respond before launching a PayPal dispute and never ordering from them again. Let's see if that works.

Haha this time they replied straight away, funny that isn't it? Getting it sorted now. :)

Nothing like a softly, softly, threat a PayPal dispute approach to get things moving. :D

Received a large order from RK, first class packaging and service (I had them combine two orders). They chucked in heaps of free DOTM trading cards and even threw in a free album that I requested.

Ordered three SS-38 Optimus Primes from RK with some mates. Last week they showed up and one had an incorrect part so I messaged RK for a replacement. They were very keen to help and sent out a replacement part free of any charge. It arrived much sooner than they said it would and in a way bigger box than was necessary. Robot Kingdom cares. :D

received 2 star black series and 1 marvel legends figure shipped via 'small packet' which came in a box lined with polystyrene slabs and beads. well packed and arrived in good time. inc shipping came to about $44 au each which is a bit much but i was happy to pay the price to actually get these figures which i might never see at retail here.

Robot Kingdom has recently had issues with their website. I just checked my account and under recent orders my recent Seacon order is missing. I've emailed them about it, worth everyone checking their account.

Robot Kingdom replied back quickly. Some orders are missing off the account dashboard but they have them backed up so not to worry about the order. I've still got my original order details in case there are any issues but trust it will be fine.

First time ordering with them here in Oz.
They emailed to request confirmation I was in Oz as my previous orders were all in HK (ie they were checking my paypal hadn't been hacked), and checked how I wanted the parcel declared.
Parcel arrived 3 days after it was sent, really well packed and no problems at all although I can't open the actual figures as they're my *cough* Christmas presents from my family. No DOTM cards though :( (Do they still do those?)
Will definitely be using them again as postage wasn't as bad as I expected and service was excellent.

I'm still getting them in high-value orders, but not in small orders.

What is a high-value order? I spent over AU$500 excluding postage... I guess I'll just wait and see whether I get any next time.

I haven't been getting the cards either whereas I used to on all my orders. I reckon they finally depleted their inventory after all these years.

Ah Ok. I spent over $300 a couple of months back and got two packs. I assumed it was because the order was rather big compared to the sub $100 order I normally place.

Bought something instock two weeks ago and there has been no update. Has anyone ordered from them recently? Is this just normal covid timing?

They just shipped an order for me this week and have been emailing with them back and forth so they are fine. Did you get an email about switching to Surface Mail when you ordered (it might have gone to your spam)? You have to let them know you want it shipped Surface or else they will hold it until the shipping option you chose when ordering becomes available.

I found my emails from RK were not getting delivered because they seem to be blocked by Apple's icloud.com email service. Perhaps your email provider is also blocking communication from RK?

Haven't got any other emails besides confirmation, and checked my other folders. However that sounds like the holdup probably. I will contact them.

Using gmail, and I got the confirmation so I should be good on that end.

For those who don't know, Hong Kong - over and above all of the other excitement it's got going on atm - has just had a major COVID-19 spike again, so you know...things might be hard for poor old RK (again).

Robot Kingdom's updated shipping rates are ridiculous. They put it down to HK Post new pricing but it means they are no longer competitive for MPs etc. They want US$71 to ship one of the new MP seekers using registered mail parcel, I had already ordered two units of MP-52 and paid US$76 shipping for both.
Have ordered MP-53 and MP-54 from Anime-Export and looking to order the MP-52+ versions from ShowZ. It's a shame because I've always rated RK and used them extensively since NY went rogue but I can't support them at these shipping rates.

I thought I found a good deal on a third party Predaking set.
But for months afterwards, Robotkingdom kept changing the delivery date.
Due to Australia Post's pending closure of Shopmate, I contacted them to change the delivery address and got this in response:

First question, I thought this product had been released.
If it has not, then I have a big problem, since the other other listing I saw was by an upseller and I cannot afford what they demanded.
Looks like I have to find a new 3rd party Predaking set now. :(
Second query, I have advised them I want a full refund, as store credit is useless to me.
They did not sell the item I wanted, therefore I want my 200AUD back.
If they don't honor the refund, is it acceptable for me to contact PayPal, explain the situation and request a cancellation of the transaction so I can get my money back?

Hi Tilarta,
in case you or others reading this don't know, NEVER accept store credit, if you do you void any chance of recovering your money via PayPal or bank/creditcard dispute processes.
Which product did you buy? There are lots of third party Predakings.
So yeah, contact RK and tell then you want a refund. If they refuse or don't contact you after a few days, then send another email informing them that you will start a dispute process through PayPal, if you still have the time available. If you have run out of time on your PayPal, but it is linked to a creditcard, that can make things easier, but it can take a lot longer.
