Official images of the Transformers GO toys have been put up by TakaraTomy, and can be seen here (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-go-official-images-177115/).

It includes...
Deluxe - Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Soundwave, Bulkhead, Starscream.
Voyager - Optimus, Predaking.
So far, just the show character toys... no sign of the non-show toys by Hasbro yet, as they will probably sell better.

And Generations Autobot FOC Discs, which are out next month in Japan.

The colours on Optimus Prime look a WHOLE lot better than Hasbro's. Still not sure if I wanna get the Voyager though... hmm... #undecided

The black and silver look a hell of a lot better on Shockwave than the stupid orange - with those colours people might actually be inclined to leave his beast armor on!

Will these Go! toys be requiring stickering?

More promotional images of the GO! toys (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/takara-tomy-transformers-go-promotional-images/27053/) from the Takara Site, which look crisper and cleaner than the Hasbro colours.

$30 for another Soundwave just to get an all black Ravage? Probably not.
I wonder what they'll do for the new Smokescreen mold...

Some teaser images of the first three from GO! (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/866460-transformers-go-g01-03-silhouettes.html), which are said to be exclusive JP moulds, and are a set of three that can combine (with electronic gimmicks).

there's talk of the Samurai team being scout or deluxe sized...considering their price i'd hope they range deluxe to voyager sized...

Very brave-ish. Very Japanese(some samurai hints on the red combined form)

Really nice to see TakTom doing these "main line" figures without Hasbro's design input and having to stick to Hasbro's strict costing structure. These may turn out to be a pleasant surprise

I wasn't a fan of powerlinks in Armada or Energon.
Not superimpressed by this.

They do seem very Brave-y which I'm TOTALLY ok with. You have my attention, Takara.

Kenzan looks cool as a head, nice as a robot, good as a vehicle
Ganoh looks very nice in vehicle mode, rather plain in robot mode, nice head mode
Jinbu looks rather generic all things considered, plain vehicle, plain robot, weird head mode

can't make out the torso and leg modes too well though. concerned about Kenzan's lights hampering his transformation and posability a bit but shouldn't be too bad

they certainly don't look like they match with the prime aesthetic like I hoped they would.

combined modes look very Sentai/Brave-ish

can't wait to see better pics of them

Gaidora doesn't interest me since I already grabbed Lazerback, nice colour sheme though

if I can afford it I'll probably grab the 3 Samurai
and any other japan exclusive molds (gekisomaru, hishomaru, sensuimaru) and their smokescreen if he's coloured more like the show model

Packaging style has been revealed (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/takara-tomy-transformers-go-packaging-revealed/27126/), as the first wave should be out in Japan in the next week.

Plus, a teaser image of an opposing team (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/takara-tomy-transformers-go-decepticon-combiner-teaser/27132/) to the Autobot combiner group just revealed yesterday. Looks like it could be a Predacon combiner, based on the beast kibble... or maybe in Japan, there is no third faction - they could just be Decepticons.

There's a pretty big price difference between BBTS and RK for the Go! combiners. Wonder why the police car's pricing is almost 150% for both retailers? If one of the combiners were to be bigger than the other two, I would expect that to be the fire engine.

There's some speculation that the police car has lights and sound.

I just found this on tumblr full image of the GO! Combiner animation models. (http://ryssa-aquicoine.tumblr.com/post/48843800242/so-apparently-transformers-go-is-supposed-to-be-a)

Well it's not the animation models. More of a full reveal of the Autobot and Decepticon combiners that was previously silhouetted.

I hadn't noticed  :D

I wonder if three of the same figure can combine? Because that fire engine is the only one that has a strong enough design IMO. Also if I had enough money to piddle away on an impulse purchase.

More images of the second Autobot team (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-go-ninja-team-official-images-177680/) - Gekisomaru, Hishomaru and Sensuimaru - a Ninja team (as opposed to the first Autobot team being a Samurai team).

Also, some names (no images yet) of the October wave (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-go-october-2013-releases-177684/) -
Transformers Go! - G22 - DLX Hunter Arcee
Transformers Go! - EG09 – Legion Groove
Transformers Go! - EG10 – Legion Beachcomber
Transformers Go! - EG11 – Legion Soundwave
Transformers Go! - EG12 - Legion Jet Vehicon

Soundwave and Jet Vehicon should be the Beast Hunter toys, while Beachcomber and Groove make up the Gen1 component of the current EZ series (half current, half classic). Not sure what mould will be Groove though, as Arcee and Animated Prowl Legion toys are a bit thin/sleek to be a good Gen1 Groove.

Via Seibertron New hobby magazine scan images can be seen here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-hobby-magazine-images-transformers-go-masterpiece-generations/27646/)
Among them:
GO7 Bakudora, the repaint of TFP BH Ripclaw. Check out the head mould - it's Breakdown meets Darth Maul - my favourite of the line so far.
GO! Samurai teams GoKenzan's campaign exclusive Gold deco Kabuto
Samurai teams combined modes
Ninja teams Gekisomaru
BH Smokescreen - details on tyres, though no BH armour?

Comes as no surprise that there is word about some black redecos (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-prime-39/transformers-go-black-versions-incoming-177833/) of various GO! toys coming...
No details yet.

Too soon? Exclusives of Japanese Exclusives that has just recently been released?

Also, a bit odd to just have the 'leaders' of each team recoloured.

Close ups of the second Autobot Go! Combiner leader (determined by his price point and because he's the only figure with batteries inside?), Gekiso-Maru.

Looks a lot better than the first set already - he looks like a decent figure on his own, less of a hint that he's nothing but a whole bunch of ratchet joints from his ankles to neck (at least from the frontal shot, which I cannot say the same for Jinbu), and lastly my favourite change - they've gotten rid of those cheating Kabuto's (but replaced with combiner helmets like in G1, *sigh*).

He does have a very large head for a lion, but perhaps he's supposed to represent a mystical beast. He will look very good as a torso piece in combined mode. I wonder if you can simply fold his arms and legs in, and simply make him a giant lion headmaster for Fortress?

The colours are gross, but I did like how they made him a Decepticon. Too bad they kept the character as Ratchet and did not take the opportunity to repaint into an actual Decepticon character with a similar SUV alt mode - Crankcase perhaps? May go well with that scowl.
