I just got my today and i got to say the first thing that came into my mind was ..."man that a small box.!":D i got mp15 also together so it my first time seeing them.
Frenzy in robot mode very nice but very plasticy ...they should of die-cast his body or something....and the way the power driver just hang on to his arm like that with no articulation was a let down , i was expecting alot more .
Buzzsaw the same as laser beak and when transformering him was a little stiff ,i was very careful with the small wings on the engine but it was fine...
They should off made frenzy and rumble faces a little different would of been nice , but mine had a scar on frenzy face so made him look meaner :p....
Coming to QC ...my buzzsaw is scratched in tape mode on the right  and also frenzy got a scar on his left cheek, but at least that make him different from rumble:)
So are they worth it?... i say no if you have rumble and ravage set with soundwave and laserbeak already ... i think it abit over priced if you include shipping cost into it ...if it diecast then that be another story

I like your optimism! :) You wanted their faces to look a little different, and by happy accident they are for you! ;)

Did you get a preorder discount? Reading your review makes me feel glad that I decided to have all my MP Cassettrons shipped off together rather than in 2 separate lots. I'm also having some Arms Micron stuff sent too, bundle it all together and save more on postage per toy. :o Speaking of which... mine got posted on Sunday. Just waiting for these babies to arrive!

Mine are all sitting in my POL at BBTS, had to order there since I ran late on the Soundwave... silly me!
Cost me more in the end, and then there's the Hasbro version coming out later.
May keep them all in the box until the Hasbro one comes out and I can compare them.

I got mine a couple of days ago. I think the paint app QC on Frenzy and Buzzsaw is not quit as good as on the previous 3 cassettes. Still I'm happy with them.

I got mine today, and i quite like the blue frenzy (or rumble). But yeah i voted 'only if' your a masterpiece collector, otherwise just wait for the hasbro MP soundwave with all cassettes.

Got mine today, QC free excepting a very similar cheek scar on Frenzy.
At first i thought it was identical to lancalots (and perhaps intentional) but on closer inspection it's a bit different.
Still, it's not offensive and as mentioned previously, does differentiate them somewhat!

Mine arrived today - the only thing I'm not impressed by is the piledrivers - is there a way to securely attach them to Frenzy's arms or do they just slide on loosely and kind of hang there? Edit: Ah - no I've got it now, I can jam them in. Very nice.

I find they fit better on g1

My MP-15 and 16 sets came today. They're pretty neat, no major issues though the the yellow paint applications on Buzzsaw's body are a pretty sloppy and the spy camera is crooked, though still opens fine.
The pile drivers are specific to each arm. I haven't been able to find any sort of indicative marking but if you flip open the top, the plastic guide jutting out into the cavity should be towards the back.
Viewed from the top:
Right arm Left arm
___ back ___
/ | \ / | \
| === Robot === |
\___/ \___/
front
When you get it right, the pile drivers should click on. Mine do, at least. :)

Got my Frenzy and Buzzsaw today too, Buzzsaw seems fine but my Frenzy has a really loose waist moreso then Rumble. Frenzy also has a kinked neck as his head doesn't sit on straight.

It's actually illustrated on the instructions. At the top of each 'hammer arm' the side with the two indents goes on the front (and thus the one side with the stripes and bumps goes on the back.)

Ah! I missed that the first time, very subtle. I would have settled for an L and R moulded on to the interior, but this works too. :D

A nice set - the main thing that kinda disappoints me is how front heavy the piledriver arms become... I've yet to figure out a way to pose Frenzy & Rumble with the hammer arms in "alternating" positions (i.e. one piledriver extended, the other retracted). I can pose them with their piledrivers either both extended or both retracted. :/ Other than that it's a reasonably good design. Buzzsaw isn't as tight as Laserbeak (which I felt was too tight), so that's a good thing. :)
At full RRP you're looking at about $22 per cassette - which is nearly the price of a cheap Deluxe Class figure. I personally don't think it's worth paying that; I pre-ordered these toys, so I paid $16 per cassette, which is $1 above Scout Class RRP (or a few dollars below Commander Class), so I'm voting "Only if" you can get it for below RRP. Otherwise just wait for the Hasbro version. :o

The trick is to apply proper manual handling technique. :p Bend more at the knees and keep the body relatively upright and he should be able to balance as long as you're keeping the centre of gravity over the feet. It helps to fold the lower thigh joint back into the shin, similar to the box art for Frenzy.

Wouldn't he look like he's doing push ups? :p

Squats, maybe? Unfortunately it does make his thighs look quite short but I think the coolness of the pose makes up for it. :)
