Currently reaching homes in America is the next issue of the Collector Club's Magazine, Issue 50.
The contents have been posted up (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/hoist-magnificus-updated-machine-wars-deco-and-more-revealed-in-tcc-50-now-arriving/27032/), including....
Upcoming Generations Deluxe Hoist.... a reworked Trailcutter (not out yet), for 4th Quarter. (link to a scan (https://twitter.com/optibotimus/status/321378212536012801/photo/1) from the link above)
Reworked colouring of the BotCon Obsidian toy. (also a link to that scan (https://twitter.com/optibotimus/status/321391701040185344/photo/1) from the link above)
The first Subscription figures are delayed until after BotCon. It could just be the same delay as before, but now with a definite release date.
Ehobby Magnificus (redeco Perceptor) will be sold through FunPub's site from April 15th for US$90.
Part 2 of the Beast Wars Shattered Glass comic.
Profile pages for Beast Wars Dinobot and BWII Dirge.
And the other usual fillers.
Those who are members here, we should get this by the end of April.

It's about time the "Official Hasbro Transformers" magazine actually started showing upcoming toys that are news. It's taken them four years to realise that this concept is why fans would actually show interest in a toy-fandom magazine.

As a "free-to-air" tv watcher....
I prefer the toy-based obsidian :(
(Meaning I never saw BM back in the day, and by the time was on DVD I had attachment to the toy)

Hoist actually looks better than Trailcutter IMO, as he doesn't have the same stupid roof gun.

The homage to Marvel's 25th anniversary covers (including TFUS#22) is lovely.

I just realized, this is the first collectors mag I won't be getting since they started. Oh how sad. Well, intentionally wont be getting, since there were a few I didn't get coz they got lost somewhere :p

I wouldn't say "after Botcon" is a specific date. It's still just as vague as "May/June". Unless the book does give an actual definite date.

Is it worth signing up?

Not in Australia, unfortunately. They charge double the price and heaps of postage for here, at least.
I suppose it would be good if you're in America and if you like the actual figure they're giving out.
Anyway, I'm loving that Hoist and I honestly think he's a must have, along with the Wave 3 Voyagers, FOC/IDW Thundercracker and Metroplex. ;)

To reward all loyal subscribers the magazine and yearly toy have been replaced with the feeling of regret and disappointment.

I got mine in the mail just last night. I heard somewhere that the club figure would also be delayed, they're probably all on the same shipment with the botcon figures.

I believe it was announced somewhere that it was with their BotCon toy shipment (again), so they probably won't be arriving to people here until July.
Last year it was okay because BotCon was in April, but the year before the member toy was held up with the BotCon shipment as well, so maybe they should just start saying that the toy is most likely arriving whenever BotCon is scheduled for that year.

I got my issue in the mail yesterday. I stopped being part of the club years ago because I didn't really think it was worth it. So this was my first issue in years - the Big 50th issue - and it was absolute shite! Some Primus-awful comic, a picture of Generations Hoist and that was about it! At least they used to do an article or two and the odd interview before. Was sorely dissapointed!

I was a bit surprised there wasn't an article of some sort, there usually is, but I think there were more pages of comic this time, I haven't actually counted them.

Got this issue last week, and am one of those left disappointed, especially if it is meant to be an anniversary issue.
We get dozens of new toys coming out ever two moths, and all they feature is just one (Hoist).
They waste a whole page for that one toy, and two pages for their convention toys that could have been on one page... and then a whole page for an image of the Magnificus to promote another product they are selling.
It's like they are stretching out the contents to fill pages... like using double spacing on school assignments to make them look bigger.
Not sure about the reason or purpose of the full page "bio" of the Dinbots subgroup.
Both character bios are of existing toys... as they usually include at least one Club character.
If the membership didn't come with a toy and significant discount to BotCon, people would not be paying for this magazine anymore. There's just nothing in it anymore to keep people excitedly waiting for the next issue.
