fans can vote on a variety of features including allegiance, weapon, alt mode, colour scheme and personality to create an all new character who will appear in an upcoming IDW comic and also be made into a toy for the generations line (with the development of which shown on their website through design sketches and stuff)

Hope the execution is good on the build, after the rotf figures I couldn't select helicopter, motorcycle or beast figures after what they have tried to dish out with Beast Hunters. No faith that the toy would actually be any good.

Like some of the colour options, certainly different. Weapons too, a cybertronian taser sounds intriguing.

At the moment an Autobot character is in the lead, we haven't had a new Autobot character since Drift, so I don't like the recent history there, but there's been some success with Decepticon characters like Oilspill and Lockdown, so ill keep voting for different coloured Decepticons with anti jet modes, just to counter all the G1 jets that will get voted for. :D

This is a fantastic concept from Hasbro.
Real Fan interaction, even limited input like this is very interesting.

So far, I've selected an autobot jet, blue and silver, with nunchucks whos cranky.

I'm thinking a guy that flys in and lands in the thick of the battle looking for nothing but Hand to Hand combat. a sky ninja if you like.

At least Hasbro learnt to not risk certain fansites sabotaging their projects, by having set options this time instead of letting fans submit suggestions.

A 'green and gold' option sounds interesting... give it an Australian accent to it, and we have a winner. :p

This is pretty pointlessly general. They should have an actual design-a-Transformer competition like Masters Of The Universe has done twice or like they did for Beast Wars Neo.

Based on 2 of the name options having "Autobot" prefixed before them I guess it's safe to assume we're getting an Autobot

and a name like "windblade" kinda hints that a flying altmode may have won

regardless get voting in round 2 guys :D

I voted for "Autobot Wraith" a "Female" from "Kaon" who is a "Close Combat Specialist" though I may vote for something completely different tomorrow haha

the idea of a flyer, whose specialty is close combat tickles my nerd. Kalis is a long term centre of strife on Cybertron, whoever survived coming from there is going to be gritty.
Male is about as asexual as transformers gets, lately it seems that female characters are a little over sexualised.
