Ive been thinking and that thread by Trev with what characters you wanted made in the multiverse kinda sparked this idea.
I mean for yeeeaars 3rd party companies have proliferated a whole gamut of stuff to complement our beloved figures. And Hasbro just keeps handing them actually opportunities to make more with all the stuff the official toys miss on having. So... I was thinking what stuff - accessories, playsets, parts call it what you want that you think should be made officially by Hasbro. It can be an accessory pack on its own, it could be a part sold with a figure. One example that has finally come - energon cubes - thanks to MP Soundwave.
Mine are
An official Ark.... and Im not talking about that little space ship sold for legions class in DOTM I want playset - think Generations Metroplex size!! Once it opens, theres Teletraan!
Also, of course a Nemesis playset should not be left behind. Why should the Autobots all have the fun? One gimmick would be that launch pad tower - something I think Bidoofdude would really appreciate :p;).
Weapons pack in the same way Mattel makes weapons for their figures which the official toy released may not have. Say the pack may contain the melee weapons for Bludgeon, Octopunch and Stranglehold

I agree the volcano with the ark buried in its side would be awesome. I'd like it to also have a cave you can brick up the dinobots into.
I'd be willing to compromise and have TF:Prime's Mountain HQ.
In either case I'm thinking it'd be faster to build my own diorama.

Ark & Nemesis +1
I was actually thinking of something along these lines today. I wouldn't mind some humans to interact with the G1 toys like: Shawn Berger, Chip Chase, Carly etc
As far as play sets, a space bridge with lights and sounds, Lord Chumley's torture yard and an Optimus Prime version of Operation. The guy dies often enough, why not? (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_many_deaths_of_Optimus_Prime) :p

A nemesis would be great, either G1 or FOC. (Foc/wfc into Trypticon :D)

Nemesis would make a great (and accurate) alt mode for that guy. Could double him in as a big TFP playset.

Autobot city, with a spot for G1 Metroplex

Going by that Mayzaprime, if Hasbro would package a part of the city per say a scout figure then you get to buy the whole set to build up the playset. That would be cool - of course they should come up with characters not previously issued to expand the generations line better... say official Throttlebots.
Kinda like how G1 had those micromasters with their own playsets you can connect to each other. yep those are great to bring back only make em for Generations :D

Sounds like MASK's Boulder Hill Playset (http://figure-archive.net/item.aspx?itemID=10808)?

I REALLY like the idea of an Ark/Volcano playset. A huge one that could accomodate at least the 1985 Mini-Cars or WST figures walking around inside. You could have an elevator that goes up the Volcano's shaft, Teletraan-1 and Ratchets Med-bay at the least.
Also you could have the Decepticons Underwater base, complete with fighting pit, Megatrons Throneroom and elevator to the surface (with opening just the right size for my WST Thrust)
I remember seeing this a few years ago. Loved it because of Omega built into the rock wall, but didn't buy it because of the giant Optimus Snow Globe on top:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=DMC10095&mode=retail
Other playsets:
*The Nemesis
*The Ark
*Quintesson Throne/Courtroom with electrified cells and Sharkticon pit
At school we built little Autobases out of cardboard (and I insisted we put a river through because I had Seaspray ;) ) and we had awesome fun with them!

Heh, I must admit that when I first bought Beast Wars' Armordillo vs Snapper, I used the Volcano Base as Mt St Hilary in my G1 toyplay (and pretended the base section was part of the Ark ;)).
In terms of viability for Hasbro, I think these could work as Cyberverse playsets. The vehicles/bases could 'fold out' into a play set, similar to the DotM Ark w/ Roller. :) So you could have say...
+ The Ark (G1 cartoon style) w/ Legion Class Autobot who transforms into Omega-Delta Class Shuttlecraft
+ The Ark (G1 comic style) w/ Legion Class Autobot who transforms into Ark Shuttlecraft.
+ The Nemesis /w Legion Class Generations Megatron
+ Autobot City w/ a repaint of Generations Scamper (or a Legion/Commander Class Metroplex if they wanted to go there)
As for the Space Bridge... a G1 comic style Space Bridge would be spectacular, and it could transform into a robot resembling Spanner. A G1 cartoon style Space Bridge would be more challenging to design as a toy that would engage kids, cos let's face it... it's pretty much just a purple doughnut. :p Mebbe the toy could just be based on the G1 comic Space Bridge, but its robot mode weapons could assemble to form the G1 cartoon style Space Bridge. Alright, I know the incredible irony of Spanner having weapons... maybe market them as "tools." :D
Other things I'd like to see would be...
+ Axalon w/ Legion Class Optimus Primal (Cybertronian w/ vehicle mode - repaint of Legends CYB OP (http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/thumb/3/35/GF_MetallicGalaxyConvoy_Legends_toy.jpg/300px-GF_MetallicGalaxyConvoy_Legends_toy.jpg))
+ Darksyde w/ Legion Class BW Megatron (Cybertronian w/ vehicle mode - retool of Legends CYB Red Alert (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20061130064902/transformers/images/0/05/LOC_CD_Red_Alert.jpg))
+ Steelhaven w/ Legion/Commander Class Generations Fortress Maximus (based on his IDW model ;))
+ Galvatron's Flagship (from TFTM and G1S3/4) - w/ Legion Galvatron. Base mode could resemble the throne room where Starscream had his coronation
+ The Lost Light w/ Legion Class Rodimus (slight repaint of previous Legends class figure)
+ Yukikaze w/ Legion Class Leo Prime
+ All-Terrain Turbo Transport w/ Legion Class Grimlock
+ Autobot Bird of Prey w/ Legion Class Ratchet (or any other Autobot). The G1 coloured version could be a regular type, then make the Universe variant a limited exclusive (it'd come w/ a redeco of Legion class Trailbreaker^cutter).
+ Xantium w/ Legion Class Generations Springer (or any other Wrecker)
+ Decepticon Heavy Transport w/ Legion Class Bludgeon or Spinister or any other Mayhem.
+ Warworld (yyaaaaah!!) w/ Legion Class Bludgeon or G2 Megatron
+ Twilight w/ Legion Class G2-accurate Jhiaxus
+ Quintesson Cruiser; could also transform into a Quintesson Warship (bulk of the vehicle is fairly similar) and open up to form the Quintesson throne room with faux Sharkticon pit. w/ Legion Class Quintesson or Sharkticon (latter may be more marketable to kids). Comes w/ missile launcher that shoots missiles resembling Lithonian Shuttles^Quintessons' Trident Attack Craft.
+ Decepticon Bird of Prey w/ Legion Class Thunderwing. Base mode should have a small section for torturing Autobot POWs.

Oooh Warworld with legion class Bludgeon would be awesome!! twood be as big prolly as Cyb. Primus.... mebbe then it spreads out to become an awesome platform base of sorts with a martrix center - mebbe even a starscream looking sticker decal inside hehehe :D:D
Viablity wise, yeah I guess asking for playsets which would be fit for deluxes would be expensive to produce and such scale would command higher prices which could deter a sale.... but with proper marketing who knows... it sure would be better than wasting all them plastic producing non moving merchandise such as another variant Bumblebee. :p
More Spaceships would be nice too. I wonder how long will it take for them to produce a Legion class Darkmount? with a docking port for a legion scale TF Prime Decepticon Warship (was it called Nemesis in this series, sorry too lazy to look).
Hasbro should actually consider this and then prolly sell legion class toys with mini playsets which connect to the bigger set for a total upgrade of the playsets. Although the price range is gonna be an issue, sigh.

I suppose if this is a wish list we could put in things we KNOW would never get made but would be cool! Such as:
*The Combaticons Desert Base
*The Protectobots City Base (complete with swing up wall)
*Torqulon Pyschiatric Petintentary (complete with webbing straight jackets)
Of course the ultimate would be to have a 6 foot tall Unicron which would swing open to reveal:
*Passageways with little pincers coming out of the walls on cords
*A discoball in his skull
*Pop Out eye
*Drop elevator in throat
*Smelting tank in his belly with hooks to hang your WST's from above
*Lots of freaky nooks and crannies for your WST TF's to run/drive around in and have fights
*Pipes with water going through (little plastic toy inside to get swept back and forth
*And all manner of cool crap!
:D:D

Weapon sets, especially for classicsverse. At least some C-clip compatible please, with a mix of character-modeled (i.e. Mirage's shoulder missile launcher) and generic. I don't mind them recycling old mold weapons either - things like Generations Blurr's sniper rifle set is worth a rerelease IMO.
I'd also love to see some improved head-and-weapon sets for specific characters a la Headrobots Bludgeon. Even if they just released an occasional upgrade kit to let us turn the endless Bumblebees into Bumper and Hubcap that'd probably get me buying another Bumblebee or two.

Yeah, weapons/accessories sets would be great... but would it be viable for Hasbro to do? I remember when Star Wars The Phantom Menace came out they released accessory sets for those toys, but I don't remember them ever doing it again for subsequent Star Wars series.
I honestly don't know if such an idea would be viable for Hasbro or not. It was something that was popular with action figures back in the 1960s with Captain Action (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Action). Would it be possible with Transformers? Seems popular enough for 3rd party makers aimed at adults with disposable incomes, but would kids buy it? I dunno. It sounds like a relatively inexpensive venture though if they wanted to try it. :/
But a safer option might just to stick to the universal 5mm post system and release accessories with other figures. e.g. Beast Hunters Voyager Ultra Magnus comes with the Forge of Solus Prime; which ought to be compatible with other Voyager Class figures like Optimus Prime and Megatron provided that they have 5mm post compatible fists. It would also help Hasbro sell those toys too. Imagine if a whole bunch of Voyager or Deluxe Class figures all came with a different Cybertronian Relic ;)

With enough merchandising and commercials behind it a weapons pack could be a gold mine for Hasbro. They just got to find an angle
