Hey guys... I just got these two GT-R ...took so long to get here ... This going to be a review and comparison between the two so for any out there that only decide to get one of them as they pretty expensive hope the picture help you decide.....

First thing ...the detail of the decal is totally awesome ....I forgot how small the actually car was in size... and the decal is tiny....From between the two cars red or blue... the red one got abit more decal..and plus has the strips which the blue doesn't ... so that to me the red looks abit better ...

The new car mode are identical ...and is total a revamp of the old gt-r mold .. everything in the car mode totally different from the bonnet to the exhaust at the front side wheels  to the back wide body kit and spoiler. The wheels and tyres different also...the tyres are racing slicks rubber :D...

The actually toy feel good as well and not like the plastic feel of the old mold .it just a more solid figure. In robot mode he a lot stiffer then the old one where he wobbling every where.. The only different that i notice is of cause the heads and also the join in the doors .. on the new one it stick out more which actually slide against the front wheel arch in which i was very cautions about scratching the decal off....but it has very good paint job on there ...it was making the door hard to tilt them up .......

On to the figure that come with it ....As i said before that they should of left this out to make the price better ... but the figure is very well articulated but it actually shows in the joints... The figure quiet small also only half a Figma figure ...so i don't know why they didn't scale it down just a little more so it could fit inside the GTR which would be awesome..it comes with different shape hand to pose with...

Is the GTR worth the it?... I say it not worth the rrp... but somewhere around 70 would be a good price... It heaps better then the old mold and the decal is totally amazing! There no way i can even write that small less painting it ... so that alone in car mode does it for me.... It scale nicely with the MP line as well...So if you can get it on sale it totally worth it... one of the nicest transformer alt mode and paint job out there.

Well here the pics

I know the girls are way out of scale with the Alternity figures themselves, but do you think they would scale well with the Binaltech/Alternators figures?

Well the girls just a little bigger and i just found out that they can't sit ,bend their legs up because of their skirt ... they fit in the car if you take off their lower half apart ...

I noticed the door tilt too, did you actually get it tilting on an angle?

I stopped before trying to push it too hard, to check the instructions, which i don't think have that step, so figured it was just changed for whatever reason for this version.

Yeah it can ...but on saber i was willing to try cause it actually rubbing against the side and he doesnt have decal there but prime has decal there so i didn't want to do it with him just in case..

Nice. Thanks for the review. I'm keen for Megatron. I reckon he's the best looking in alt mode. Although Saber is a close second.

Thanks for posting the comparison review. The more I see of these guys, more more I am convinced I want to have at least one of them---though I'm still holding out for Megatron/Maximus.

In robot mode he a lot stiffer then the old one where he wobbling every where.

My Alternity Optimus came out of the box with very loose hips which make it almost impossible to get him to stand straight up, due to the heavy die cast on his back. Did they fix the hips joints? Do they still use die cast on the part that becomes his back?

Those new door hinges bugged me... Not sure why they needed to lengthen it, as I prefer the doors to fold back more, not stick out (which is what that modified hinge bit forces you to do now).

With all the metal bits and plastic contacting other parts, I was worried about scratching the paintwork... and am not likely to transform these again, just to protect them from transformation damage.

Colours are nice on these, but even with all the paint apps, I still can't understand why they need to be $100 each... considering there are now 7 versions of this "mould", which should be offsetting any additional expenses in the new two.
