Sandstorm has now arrived at Asian dealers, so we have some images now, and a bio (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/inpackage-images-with-bio-transformers-generations-voyager-sandsorm/27549/).

Argh... Tempting, but not at the moment though - too many other expenses to deal with but this is definitely the version of the mold that I'll be acquiring, he looks so damn cool! :D

I'm not after him myself, but I've really gotta give Habro credit for this one: the changes they've made really do make it look distinct from Springer.

i was wondering what Sandstorm's dune buggy mode looked like and i worked out it was a Dragster

I have this in-hand - such an awesome piece.

have reviewed it; and taken 50+ photos. Also did a size comparison with The Fallen, Blitzwing and Green Giant.

I don't have photo hosting facilities (other than via blogspot on Google), so cannot place photos here.

Review and photos can been seen here - Heroic Decepticon: Hasbro Transformers Generations Wave 2 Triple-Changer SANDSTORM review (http://heroicdecepticon.blogspot.hk/2013/06/hasbro-transformers-generations-wave-2.html?showComment=1371527316028)

Every time I look at images of this toy Prime, my circuits sizzle. Feels like they designed this toy to be Sandstorm and Springer is the uninspired retool.

As always Heroic; a stunning review indeed and one that makes it all the harder to resist simply hitting the "buy button" on this figure, as out of the 2 toolings it's Sandstorm who is the iteration I want to own. ;)

Yeah, I'm not loving this one... despite Heroic's (an authority on TF figures) glowing praise. Just doesn't seem to 'work' for me.

What's not working for you dude?, is it the wheels? - I've heard many aren't too crazy on them. :)

this one is stunning. I have springer, but have not opened yet. I suspect Sandstorm is the better of the 2 molds....

yeah, what's not working? Ironically, I think this is one of the few official figures that can give the third party figures a run for their money, haha

Yeah I would certainly agree that the Sandstorm version of this mold does feel as if the toy is in a higher league than the typical Habro stuff.

Outstanding work for an official figure. Hopefully official toys of this quality become the norm and stuff like Blitzwing and the FOC Generations releases (and much of the Prime junk) become less prominent but I am dreaming.
