Assorted deluxe figures (the image looks like just the movie transscanning figures) Half price:rolleyes: at $14.95

Leader bumblebee with bonus Starscream (movie) Half Price at $49

Beast Hunters ultimate Optimus $89 save $30
Beast Hunters Ultimate Predaking $79 save $30

this makes their sale price for the beast hunters $10 dollars dearer than Kmarts normal price...:confused:

Are these jokers for real?

the only saving grace might be if they get other deluxes in, inwhich case it's a great price for a current BH deluxe. as the catalogue shows a movie figure, but the text specifically says "assorted"

Lets see if Big W adjusts their sale price midway. It did promise that they would be looking at other store catalog use to give the lowest prices. I can live in hope ;)

I wouldn't hold your breath, I'd say "assorted" means the four transcan figures that were available previously at Toys 'R' Us which are Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Ironhide and Ratchet.

Never got the transcanning figures, so I might be vaguely interested. Does anyone know if their deals will be available online? No Myers for miles around here.

that's true, but the description is open to interpretation. there is no mention of movie, just assorted. maybe not even deluxe. I'll have to have another look later.

It's still worth trying at stores to price-match a Deluxe to it. TRU who can be easier to price-match... but since it is half THEIR price as well, a manager is likely to be called to scrutinise it.

If a store says that they would only match the exact figure shown as the example, just ask them if their catalogues show all eligible figures or just an example.

Catalogue here (http://catalogues.myer.com.au/catalogue/myer-catalogue-toy-sale/4uv3l8zab.html?pid=promotedCatalogue#pageNo=0)

Just shows how much Myer makes on their toys, if Kmart & Target are making standard profit on the Ultimate Optimus at $79... and Myer are charging $119.
$40 on top of the approximate $30 profit Kmart & Target are making on it.

For some reason those $15 trans-scanning figures appeal to me...

Myer usually ain't good with their TF sales. But they do have good LEGO sales. And from this Thu 20 Jun to Sun 23 Jun, Myer One members get an additional 10% off the price of the toys listed in the catalogue.

From my experience this morning I'd say you were right. I picked up a scanning Sideswipe and a DOTM Mudflap I found at the back of the rack.
Only the Sideswipe came up as $15. Mudflap was $30. I showed the staff the catalogue, showed them Mudflap was a deluxe (and luckily had the same package branding as Sideswipe) and got it for $15.
Don't know how I would have gone with a Beast Hunters deluxe.

Went to highpoint, BH deluxes were 20% off, not the point. I snapped an image of the sign trying to price match around the place. Target refused to price match, no surprise there. But Toys R Us allowed it, all they require is the snap to prove it. Managed to get BH Wheeljack for $15.

Apparently Myer have 20% off toys, but not sure how long for. Discount would be off the regular prices, not the sale prices in the first posting.
