I went to get my Cybertron Primus out of storage and found that all his soft plastic spikes on one side are now bent. How do I get them back to being straight?

I'd start by leaving it for a couple days and see if it straitens itself.

alternatively you could heat it gently to bend back into shape, though pretty much all methods of doing that involve a high risk of melting.

Yeah, as KalEL says, just dip them in hot water. Cold water afterwards if necessary.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread instead of making a new one.

I just got a MMPR Legacy Dragonzord and it has a soft plastic crest on his head thats bent. I would just put it in boiling water which fixed my previous soft plastic problems but I thought I'd check first, is it safe to do that if the soft plastic has paint on it? The crest has green and gold tampos on it like the diecast sections of his body.

The paint will hold.

But if you're worried about using water, try hot air. A hair dryer or heat gun is best but it can be done by waving the target part over a cigarette lighter.

OK, as long as the paint will be fine I have no issue with boiling water.
