Thread move to appropriate section.

/mod.

Looks nice. I've always had a soft spot for Gears. Still waiting for a Classicsverse Gears, maybe this will have to do.

I will pass on this. I love the more classic toon look of Igear Gears :D

This looks pretty damn good and tempting me. However it does lose some of the classic 'mini-bot' charm that the Igear Gears has as this looks completely modernized.

As a point of comparison, here is the I-Gear 'Cogs':

The US TF fan sites like TFW hasn't reported anything on it yet.

Really? The US boards have missed it.

This guys been listed on BBTS for a few months now for $69.99

I remember seeing the unpainted prototype a while back.

While the bot mode is quite nice, I don;t really like the space truck vehicle mode much.

Well at least to my knowledge. I don't see any discussions or anything going on in their 3rd party section about it.

He's a bit skinny and flexible for me. I'd rather the hardly movable, compactness of the original cartoon.

Gears is one of my top three favourite 1984 toys. On the other hand, that third-party thing is hideous, particularly in vehicle mode. The iGear version is better and includes a Man-E-Faces/Double-Trouble style spinning option of toylike/animation-model-like faces.
