It looks like Crazy Devy have come to the rescue with something I wasn't even aware I needed for my G1 Jetfire. A toon accurate (ish) head, articulated hands and gun.

I'm not sold on this idea at all. For me part of the charm of G1 Jetfire is the (lack of) face. While I can see a potential for articulation with their other offerings for Devastator or Omega Supreme, this just feels....unnecessary.

It would be great if they are releasing this because they have some inside knowledge of a G1 Jetfire reissue about to come out.

The head seems like a good idea, and it's of a pretty close likeness, but I think they have failed this time as it doesn't seem to suit the body of the toy IMO. Not really liking it...

That looks ugly to me... just doesn't suit the Valkyrie body. Classics Jetfire is a much nicer approximation of Skyfire (or comic-like Jetfire). :/ JMO

Wouldn't buy this myself, but geez it's half decent compared to the other useless gestalt add ons that they've released in the past.

Not for me. Looks weird.

I prefer the default valkyrie look of the G1 toy.

A bit out of place for my liking.:( I wonder how it would look in red...

does look quite odd the head doesn't look like it fits with the body at all. A reissue would be awesome though.

This just seems pointless.

A reissue would be nice though. Just like everybody else has been saying ;)

Pass.

I don't see the point of add-ons for G1 originals. Newer modern toys yes, but with G1 people want the genuine 25 year old + article don't they?

^100% agree.

I don't even like the look of the add on heads for G1 Ironhide/Ratchet (for one thing, it makes the arms look like they're coming out of the lower ribs :p). As you said, I want my G1s to look like G1s - if I want a more modern looking toy, I'll get a newer modern toy (e.g. Henkei Ratchet/Ironhide). :)

Would be good but i doubt it.

Really what is the point of this set? Is there a market to upgrade G1 Jetfire?

Wow what an expensive monstrosity...

It would be tricky to reissue jetfire as doesnt bandai own the mould?

That's right. Along with Whirl, Roadbuster, Venom, Ransack, Chop Shop & Barrage. Although they leased these moulds to Hasbro back in the day, now that Bandai is rival of. Hasbro in the US market, chances are non-existant.

I really like the idea but it seems as though it could have been done better.

If fans project do it im in.
